Crawling through the vast majority of alcohol bottles into her home's living room, she was only 4 years old at this time, a curious little girl.
"Uhm...Mommy?" She uttered shyly.
Turning around and looking at her daughter, Aylssas expression turned into annoyance
"What the hell do you want, brat? I'm busy." She replied while having a bottle of alcohol in her hand.
"Uhm...I'm sorry uhm...why did we move away? I miss my home in America...Japan is pretty but America was my home..."
Alyssa scowled.
"We left that country cause I wanted a change of scenery, now leave me alone, Kaylee. I'm trying to enjoy my drink in peace!" She said, taking another sip of the bottle.
Kaylee flinched.
"But...but...aren't traveling places really really expensive? How did we get here without money..?"
Alyssa groaned.
"I did some favors for a man and he bought us our plane tickets here. Now would you stop asking me questions while I'm trying to enjoy my damn drink!" She snapped, having a very annoyed scowl on her face.
Kaylee hesitated.
"...Mommy? Doesn't that icky stuff make you sick? And the baby in your tummy might not like it..."
Alyssa glared at her for a few seconds, a small growl left her mouth as she approached her daughter, grabbing her by the collar of her shirt and yanking her up off the ground and bringing her close to her face.
"Ah—!!!" Kaylee yelped in fear and sniffled "I-Im sorry mommy! I'm sorry!"
"Listen you little brat, I'm your mother. Don't come telling me what I can and can't do!" She said while having a crazed and drunken glare, throwing her back down onto the ground. "Now leave me alone! You damn brat." She said before taking a long sip from the bottle.
"B-But I...—"
"Did I stutter? I said go and do something!" She said while throwing the alcohol bottle at her daughter, it just barely missed her head.
"Ah!" Kaylee flinched a bit and stopped talking, eventually deciding to just walk outside instead.
The broken down houses and the lack of many people here made this village look like a haunted ghost town. There was trash scattered around the place and some of the houses looked like they were falling apart. There were a few people out and about but not many, they all mostly looked homeless and extremely poor. The whole area seemed very dirty and poor, it was completely different from the nice clean town she had stayed in while back in America. With a sigh, Kaykee went out to the back of her house where she saw her big sister, Lexi. She was the second oldest sister. Kaylee smiled.
"Lexiiiii!" She called out in happiness to her older sibling.
Lexi turned and looked at Kaylee, a small smile appearing on her face as she saw you her. She was 13.
"Hey little sis, what's up?" She said as she approached her younger sister, kneeling down and ruffling her head a bit.
Kaylee hugged her and giggled.
"Whatcha doooin?" She smiled.
Lexi hugged her back and let out a small chuckle as her sibling asked her what she was doing. She stood up once she released Kaylee and leaned against the wall of the house.
