STILES POV

I'm at home, the school day has passed relatively quickly between the rumors of the students about my absence and the vain attempts of some students to find out more about what happened to me.

Of course, the questions always hit a wall and for some reason that is unknown to me, although I have some suspicions, when there were some a little more stubborn than others, there was always a member of this small group of ultra popular young people who came to get their attention in one way or another.

I am convinced that they do this, either out of guilt, aware that this time Simon had attacked me because they were too interested in me, or because the guy this morning asked them to do it... I don't know why a large part of me opts for, and almost hopes for, this option. I don't know, he has this something that makes my stomach tighten in a rather pleasant way even though I've only caught a glimpse of him from afar.

And there's that look...

I can never tear myself away from it unless someone draws my attention elsewhere, there's something special that makes me feel like I'm both lost and found myself for the first time...

"Fuck, Mieczyslaw, stop daydreaming about whatever and finish my stupid homework before your stupid father comes back."

"Don't say that about my father, Marc." I say, coming back to reality, turning my attention back to the homework in front of me. "So, are you looking for a 100% or something less pleasing to the eyes?"

He rolls his eyes at my question as if the answer is obvious.

"A 100% of course, so hurry up!"

I try not to let my smile show. The real answer should be something else, if things continue like this my father will realize that he is not as gifted as he claims. After all, he did not know what to answer the curly hair guy this morning, even though he had perfectly "succeeded" in his homework.

Of course, I was the one who had done it. I set to work changing my handwriting as usual so that it differs as much as possible from my own and I read the first problem.

I am going to write on the sheet changing my handwriting as usual, but I stop before putting my pen on the sheet and glance at Marc who is looking at me impatiently. I sigh, he is not going to like what I am going to tell him, but I have no choice if I want to save my skin.

"Marc, I think it's better for you if I tell you what to write and you do it yourself..."

"I have other things to do than that, it's your job to take care of my homework, I have a game to finish on my switch."

"So, let's bet how much my father will want to look at our respective homework when he gets there because he'll have doubts after what the guy with the curly hair said?"

"That fucking Isaac, I'm going to do him!" Marc complained, pushing me off the seat to sit down, taking the pen. "So hurry up, I've got other things to do."

I spent the next hour telling him what to write here and there before tackling my own homework. It wasn't so much so that my father wouldn't notice that Marc and I have the same handwriting that I told him to take care of his homework himself, but rather because this school had a rather intelligent teacher and had noticed not only that two of his students had the same handwriting, but also that Marc was not a genius.

He couldn't answer his questions when he named a random person. That's why this little ploy allowed me to point out once and for all to this teacher that the person who works seriously is me and even if he clearly doesn't like me, he remains impartial when it comes to handing out school grades, I am certain that he will be honest about my true academic abilities.
