Jimin placed a kiss on Jungkook's knuckles before looking at his mate.

"I couldn't express how hard it was for you. Without leaving with your wolf and every day getting tortured. I wouldn't let Yeonjun go easily, and how do you know I was here?"

Jimin asks curiously, and Jungkook smiles at his husband.

"I knew it; it was the moon festival. I had a thought, you and eomma would be here. Beside, eomma wouldn't miss the moon festival by any chance and this village is near the Choi border, so I thought to look for you all here first. That's when I saw you. The second I smelled your heat pheromones, my wolf was back with me to help you with your heat. I saw you fight with those three alphas, and I was very proud and impressed. Through you, let them go, but I ripped them apart after that. I follow you, but Taemin comes in between, trying to make my mate his, and you know the rest."

Jungkook says and Jimin could feel how his alpha was gritting his teeth when he talked about the alphas.

"What happened to Taemin? What if he alerts Yeonjun?"

Jimin asked, and Jungkook shook his head.

"He wouldn't; Taemin wasn't able to see my face, and I had thrown his body in the dark forest. It would take him a few more days to get out of that forest if animals didn't attack him."

Jungkook says, chuckling, and Jimin smiles, seeing his alpha smile.

"Now, come on, let's prepare to go home. I want to see eomma, Appa, and my friends."

Jungkook said, breaking the hug and forwarding his hand for Jimin to grab his hand, but his mate remained seated on the couch, eyes stinging with tears.

"What happened?"

Jungkook asks, and Jimin looks at him with teary eyes.

"Two years ago, when I was looking into kingdom affairs, hyungs were banished from the palaces by Yeonjun. I went to them to go back to the palace with me, but they refused."

Jimin said, and Jungkook gritted his teeth.

"That must be one of Yeonjun's tricks, and wait, why were you looking after the kingdom's a-affairs?"

Jungkook asks, stuttering because, to his knowledge, Jimin was a minor back then, why he would look after the kingdom's affairs. It would be his appa's duty to look after it. A thought comes into his mind, but immediately Jungkook shook his head. He looks at Jimin; the boy is silent as tears fall from his eyes.

"What are you hiding from me? Tell me, omega."

Jungkook asks and Jimin gulps before answering.

"A-Appa and e-eomma, they had left the kingdom and then c-committed suicide."

Jimin said, crying uncomfortably, and Jungkook frozen hearing his husband's words.
