Chirag was feeling tense, wandering around, his mind cluttered with random thoughts. 'Before Chirag takes any step, I should call Kaveri' Nisha thought, rushing out of the room.

"No, no, this can’t happen. Kaveri, you’ve ruined everything. I have to do something-I can’t let this go... no... I’ll do something... m-my phone, I should call the driver." Chirag eyes widened in fear  ~ a fear that this wedding might get canceled.

It had been 15 minutes since Kaveri was stuck in traffic, anxiously checking the flight arrival times on her phone.

Suddenly, her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. It was Nisha. "Ji, Bhabhi?" Kaveri answered.

"Kaveri, listen to me carefully. Leave the city as soon as possible. Chirag is coming just go, fast!" Nisha urged in a single breath. "Bhabhi, what happened?" Kaveri asked, her voice tense.

"We don’t have much time. Just know that Chirag has found out the truth." Nisha fear reflected in her tone "Bhabhi, but~" Before Kaveri could finish, she noticed the driver’s phone Chirag was calling.

"Bhabhi, I’ll call you later." Kaveri hung up. Before the driver could notice, she tried to intervene.

"Uncle, I can manage from here. You should leave you need to take Dad to the office, and it’s already late," she insisted."But, beta~"

"Please, Uncle, we don’t have much time. You return home safely, and I’m sorry for this... please don’t mind." With that, she moved to the driver’s seat.

"It’s okay, beta, but drive slowly. Please inform your dad once you reach the airport," he said, concerned.

"Ji."

The driver waited until Kaveri left, looking for a bus when Chirag called him.

"Hello, Sir?"

"Where the hell did you leave your phone?" Chirag shouted.

"N-no, Sir, it’s with me," the driver tried to explain.

"Then why weren’t you answering my calls?"

"Sir, we were stuck in traffic, so..." Before he could finish, Chirag cut him off.

"Okay, okay, where is Kaveri?"

"Sir, Kaveri toh chali gayi," the driver replied.

"What the hell? Chali gayi? What do you mean?" Chirag’s frustration boiled over.

"She said she’d manage on her own."

"Shit!" Chirag exclaimed and disconnected the call."What? Fuck off, Kaveri!"
