After Father and I were "Captured", we were placed inside a cage and driven through more of the barren red desert these insect men called a home. The uneventful drive eventually brought us to a well used dirt path that led into the massive gates of an imposing castle, the only thing that seems to be intact on this planet.

"Huh, and I thought we'd be brought to some shabby campsite! I suppose these creatures aren't as big of lowlifes as I thought, hahaha!" Father mocks, and though I don't like to admit it, I'd had thought the same things father had said.

"Suppose they've got a ruling king?" I asked, curios of what he thought of.

"Hmm, considering the state we found on this flying rock its a pretty good guess to assume whatever civilization once stood has fallen to anarchy or a not so well thought out coup." Father says, giving his two cents on the possible situation. "Suppose I will find out soon enough."

The Arlians that "Caught" us finally pulled our cage through the gates of the castle and led us down to their dungeons and into a cell.

"Get in uglies!" A guard tried pushing us in but only ended up brushing his palms and hurting his wrists. "Tch, don't worry about rats, the other prisoners ate em all, hahaha!"

With that the guard left, his laugh getting distant.

"Annoying little piece of scum." I mumbled out, before the clicking of bare claws on the stone floor approaching both of us. Veiled in the shadows were a group of Arlians, though these didn't look as well maintained as your captors.

"Look at these aliens." "Wow, they're ugly." "Well they may be, but we're probably ugly to them." "Speak for yourself."

A tick formed on my forehead, my patience at being called ugly by giant BUG people starting to get on my nerves.

"Quiet, all of you! It matters not what they look like, just like us they are prisoners to that tyrant king." Among the crowd, another Arlian of a lighter blue carapace and a distinctive gold bracelet around his arm, spoke up and stood before father and I.

"My name is Atla, and you visitors chose a bad time to visit our planet. The new king of Arlia is very cruel and has imprisoned us to use as he wishes for his own amusement. He has even gone as far as to steal my wife on the day we were to be wed." The Arlian somberly says, his hand laying over the intricate arm band on his right arm. The sight caused a pang of sadness to grip my heart, but I tucked that feeling away.

'A Saiyan shouldn't waste time on sentimental feelings.' I reminded myself, after all father and I came to this planet with the goal of stripping it away from these people anyway.

"Hmmm, how...tragic." Father says, though his tone sounded anything but sympathetic his next words dropped my jaw. "How about we help take down this mad king, Y/N?"

My eyes widen and stare at father with confusion, my mind wondering if perhaps he'd been replaced with an imposter. "Are you sure? I thou-"

"It's a simple yes or no Y/N." Father says to me, his motives unreadable to me. I thought about his proposal for a second and came to an answer before pulling my arms apart and breaking my handcuffs.

"Ok! Atla, I'll make sure this king is dealt with so you and everyone else can be free!" I exclaimed, the baffled Arlian shocked at my show of strength. "Now stand back or you'll be caught in the splash zone."

I lifted a hand to the bars of the cell and fired a concentrated ki blast, tearing through the metal gate that "imprisoned" us.

"Wh-What the hell!? Get b-back in th-Gah!!!" The Arlian guard couldn't finish his sentence when my fist broke his jaw(beak?) off his face, before other hand ended his short suffering with a ki attack straight through his head. The other guard around was frozen in shock, which cost him his life when I turned his neck 180 degrees with a well placed kick. I smile an animalistic grin before shooting up the stairs of the dungeon to find more baddies to put down. Meanwhile, unknown to me, father had a large grin of his own.
