PLS BEAR WITH ME GUYS!! So I know Annabeth was supposed to meet Jason, Leo, and Piper  only three days after Percy disappeared, but I decided to change it up a bit. I wanted Annabeth to be be clueless as to where Percy vanished to for a little longer. I'm horrible with timelines, so sorry if things don't add up. Just pretend I know exactly what I'm doing. ALSO I edited chapter one because I realized that Percy disappeared the morning after he got to camp. —Showie

It's already a been a week since I've left camp and there has been no sign of Percy since he left his house in the beginning of break.

These past few months, the camp has seen a significant growth. Satyrs are coming back almost everyday with a handful of new campers. The Hermes cabin is quite packed right now, but I will be been helping to build the new cabins so that should only last a day or two more.

I came back to camp because of I've been having visions. Visions from my least favorite goddess, Hera, telling me I would get answers from the next batch of demigods. Look for the boy with a single shoe, those words have been stuck in my head ever since the first day I got the visions.

A satyr, Gleeson Hedge, is working on bringing three demigods over to camp today. I plan on being there to help retrieve them, and possibly Percy as well.

Butch and I just got word from Hedge to fly the chariot over to the Grand Canyon. I was anxious practically the whole ride. What if he isn't there?

This is my only lead, he has to be there.

I feel a sense of calm flying through the sky. It reminds me of that one time Percy took me on a ride on Blackjack. We were just listening to music and enjoying each other's company.

I remember it almost to a tee. My arm were wrapped around his waist from the back, I had my head buried in the crook of his neck, silently whispering song lyrics into his ear. He smelt like the sea, as usual, and the wind made his dark hair messier than I thought possible. I remember in that moment, thinking that I'm never finding someone like Percy ever again. He is a once in a lifetime kind of love, I told myself to never let him go.

I'm snapped back to reality when Butch points towards commotion by the canyon. Storm spirits. The son of Iris picks up the speed until the chariot is practically hurtling towards the demigods.

We landed on the skywalk. Before we could even stop moving I leapt off of the chariot and marched towards the three demigods, pulling my dagger out of my belt.

Before I made it there, I start sizing them up. One was a blond boy with a military cut, electric blue eyes, and a scar on the corner his mouth. The other, a girl, with choppy chocolate brown hair. The last boy was shorter than the average for his age, he had curly brown hair and elvish features.

"Where is he?" I demand.

"Where's who?" The blonde boy asks.

I'm immediately disappointed, realizing that the boy is sincere and he really does have no idea where Percy is.

They start telling me the story of how they got here and what happened to their protector. I could tell the blond boy, Jason, wasn't the normal demigod based on his use of the word venti. There are so many other things to worry about, so I don't really dive into it. I realize that their story has nothing go do with Percy and I'm suddenly frustrated.

"No, no, no! She told me he'd be here. She told me is I came here, I'd find the answer." I yell.

But then Butch nudges me and urges me to look in the direction on the boy's feet.

"The guy with one shoe," Butch says, "he has the answers."

"No Butch," I say. "He can't be, I was tricked." I look up to the sky, silently cursing the gods who love to make my life so miserable. "What do you want from me?" I scream. "What have you done with him?"

I really must look like a crazy lady right now.

"We should get going Annabeth." Butch says, pointing to the storm spirits.

"Fine," I glare in Jason's direction, "We'll settle this later." He flinches a little when I say that, and if I hadn't been so worried about my boyfriend right now, I would've smiled.

I walk over to the chariot, listening to Butch explain to them why I'm so peeved. I wince a little when he mentions Percy's name. He's been missing for two whole weeks and my only lead was a bust. I can feel my eyes start to gloss over with unshed tears. I hold them back though.

"Just please let him be safe." I whisper, praying to every single god that he is.
