Tiana trudged through the school halls, her mind still reeling from the conversation with Nabi. The revelation about Nabi and Zade had been a lot to process, but the news that Thyme had feelings for Nabi had added an entirely new layer of complexity to her emotional turmoil.

As she walked to the practice room, Tiana couldn't shake the image of Thyme's hopeful yet conflicted expressions from her mind. Earlier that day, she had found Thyme sitting alone on a bench in the courtyard. Their conversation had been light at first, but it became clear that Thyme's feelings for Nabi were deeper than friendship. The realization hit Tiana hard—her feelings about Thyme had been confusing, but knowing he had a crush on Nabi only intensified her sadness.

The weight of the news pressed heavily on her shoulders. She felt like she was caught in a whirlwind of emotions—betrayal, confusion, and a deep-seated sadness. Tiana had always tried to be the supportive friend, but now she found herself on the outside, struggling to understand where she fits in the complex web of relationships around her.

She sat down in the practice room, her thoughts scattered and heavy. The usual chatter and clamour of her friends seemed distant, as if she were submerged underwater, unable to connect with the world around her. Tiana's mind replayed her conversation with Nabi, interspersed with the memory of Thyme's conflicted glances and the hurt in his eyes when he spoke about Nabi. The realization that she had been oblivious to such a significant part of her friends' lives made her feel even more isolated.

"Hey, Tiana," Helena said as she sat down next to her. "You okay? You seem down."

Tiana forced a faint smile, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Yeah, just a lot on my mind."

Helena gave her a sympathetic look but didn't press further. Tiana was grateful for the reprieve. She needed time to sort through her feelings alone.

As the dance practice continued, Tiana found herself struggling to concentrate. The cultural content blurred together, and the only thing clear in her mind was the growing sadness she felt. It wasn't just about the revelation of Nabi and Zade's relationship—it was also about her sense of betrayal and confusion regarding Thyme's feelings.

After the final bell rang, Tiana gathered her things slowly, her movements mechanical. She decided to head to the library for some quiet time, hoping to find solace in the calm environment. She needed a place to think, away from the buzz of the school and the echo of unanswered questions.

The library was a sanctuary of silence, and Tiana settled into a secluded corner with a stack of books, though she wasn't interested in reading. She stared at the spines, feeling numb. The reality of her situation pressed heavily on her shoulders. She had tried to navigate her feelings for Thyme while balancing her friendships, but now everything seemed more complicated than ever.

As she sat there, Tiana's mind wandered back to her conversation with Thyme. He had been so earnest, his eyes reflecting a mix of hope and hesitation. It had been clear that his feelings for Nabi were genuine and intense. Tiana's own emotions felt insignificant in comparison, and she struggled to reconcile her feelings with the reality of the situation.

She pulled out her phone and considered calling Isa or Helena, but she hesitated. She didn't want to burden them with her struggles when they had their issues to deal with. Instead, she opened her messages and typed out a few lines, only to delete them moments later. It was difficult to articulate her feelings, and she wasn't sure if anyone would fully understand.

Eventually, Tiana decided to call Isa. She needed someone who knew her well and could offer perspective without the complications of her current school social circle.

"Hey, Isa," Tiana said when her friend answered. Her voice was tired but hopeful.

"Hey, Tiana" Isa's voice was warm and familiar, a comforting presence.

"I'm... struggling," Tiana admitted, her voice breaking slightly. "There's been a lot going on with friends and feelings. I don't even know where to start."

Isa listened attentively as Tiana recounted the recent events—Nabi and Zade's relationship, Thyme's feelings, and the emotional weight of it all. Isa responses were soothing and understanding, helping Tiana process her jumbled emotions.

"It sounds like you're dealing with a lot right now," Isa said softly. "But remember, it's okay to feel confused and hurt. Sometimes, talking things out helps clear the fog."

Tiana nodded, even though Isa couldn't see her due to since they were in different places on the campus. "Yeah, I just feel like I'm caught in the middle of everything. It's hard to know what to do or how to handle it all."

Isa's voice was steady and reassuring. "You don't have to have all the answers right away. Give yourself time to sort through your feelings. It's okay to take a step back and focus on what's best for you."

As Tiana listened, she felt a small sense of relief. Isa's words helped her feel less alone in her struggles. It was clear that she had a long road ahead, filled with tough conversations and emotional challenges. But for now, she took comfort in knowing that she had a friend who understood and supported her.

When the call ended, Tiana sat quietly in the library, her thoughts still swirling. She knew she would need to address her feelings with both Thyme and Nabi eventually. The prospect of confronting these emotions and navigating the shifting dynamics of her friendships was daunting, but she felt a renewed sense of resolve.

As she packed up her things and prepared to leave, Tiana took a deep breath, trying to embrace the hope that, despite the pain, she would find clarity and understanding in time. She realized that while the path ahead was uncertain, she was not alone. With the support of her friends, both near and far, she could face the challenges ahead and hopefully find her way back to a place of balance and peace.
