Until We Meet Again

Chapter 4

A few years later

It was time to start kindergarten and Jesse was about 3 years old at this time, He pretty much learned about the basics about the culture here and how life worked but still was kinda nervous about his school as he never been in a school in Japan before. But still it's a new experience and Jesse was ready for a new challenge, Although he missed his friends dearly and still thought about his old life with his friends smoking weed and playing games that was behind him now and it's was time for him to look at the future......

It was Jesse first time in a Japanese kindergarten as he looked around saw the kids doing kids things like coloring, eating, Sleeping and playing like toddlers should be doing. He had to wear this blue uniform and Jesse thought it was kinda ugly but he didn't have a choice. Jesse was sat down on the floor saw the teacher looked at him with a smile "Well look what we have here" The teacher said in a soft voice as the woman picked Jesse up, Jesse couldn't help but laugh and smile at the sweet lady. "Okay Jesse Kun I'll be back" Jesse mother said as she walked towards the door and left the kindergarten. Jesse didn't cry because he already knew that his mother would come back to him and he had already lived through this experiences in his past life.....

The rest of the day was Jesse learning about hiragana and playing games and other things. Everything was fine untilq1 one of the boys walked towards him "Why are you named Je asked as his name tag had the name Joichi on it, "it's my name" Jesse responded as he tried to pay no mind towards the boy question. "Well why do you look like that" Joichi asked a question a second time as Jesse was started to get annoyed, "Like what?" Jesse responsed swift. "Like a foreigner" Joichi said blatantly as Jesse rolled his eyes, "I'm Haafu is that a problem" Jesse snapped back scaring Joichi and the other children back, "N..No it's not a problem just curious" Joichi said as he rushed away from Jesse towards the other children. Jesse knew that Joichi was just curious because of childlike wonder and felt bad for snapping at a child but something came over him and he didn't know what.....

In the afternoon Jesse mother picked him up and asked the teacher if anything happened, "Well there's some students saying that he scared them but I think they are just being kids" The lady said as Jesse mother smiled and bowed her head from respect before walking away with Jesse. The next day in kindergarten all the kids avoided going near Jesse by not playing with him or not talking to him, Jesse Didn't care at first but over time it did began to effect him a little bit being alone and having no friends to play with but at least he had the teacher and his mother there so that all that mattered.....
