A/N:A small note as this has nothing to do with the real timeline for this story as think of it as some sort of AU. This one will pretty much a be a one shot of COTE x DxD in one, I'll probably make another one if you'd like.
Ike POV
It was thankfully Friday in this hell called school, although this school IS hell to begin with because all of their crazy ass exams and what they force us to do. Not to mention if you fail even one subject on the test you get expelled.
The Sports Festival ended 1 week ago and it wasn't too surprising that we managed to get last place since we are Class-D after all, but what was also kind of shocking was Ayanokoji. I had no idea he could run that fast, he's pretty good for a regular old Human.
My thoughts were interrupted when the bells had rung signaling the end of class.
"Alright class is dismissed everyone, and do keep in mind that that the entirety of next week will be focused mainly on your guys final test for the semester and school year. So do be sure to be mentally prepared for it....the lessons will not be easy." Ms.Chabashira gave us another warning.
God I am NOT ready for this what so ever. Until one of my friends named Ken Sudo had walked up to me and patted my shoulder.
"Yo Kanji wanna come watch me practice today?" He asked me as I shook my head.
"Nah sorry not this time since I kinda wanna head back to my dorm and rest up a bit."
"Gotcha, well practice ends early today so maybe we can head to the mall if I'm not tired."
"Sure just text or call me if you aren't I can spare sometime."
He left the classroom heading toward his club as I should've joined a club but at the same time it does take some commitment to do so, it's not everyday that you get free money for attending or even being apart of the club.
"You can't join a club since you have more important matters to attend to." I heard Regulus speak to me.
"Yeah yeah I know don't get your panties in a bunch annoying ass spirit." I grumbled inside my head as I grabbed my bag and walked out of class.
Another thing about me is that I'm not really your normal high school student since I have this weird overpowered weapon that is currently in my disposal which is called a Sacred Gear. These Sacred Gears are tools created for Humans specifically to fight up against supernatural beings like Devils,Angels,Fallen Angels,Gods etc.
"Ouuu you think we could get some of that desert again?"
"Eh desert? The hell are you talking about? And you are literally DEAD how can you even taste what I eat?" I questioned my Sacred Gear.
"That ice cream called cookies and cream that shit is super good, and as for your other question I am LITERALLY apart of you. So whatever you eat i can pretty much taste if I feel like it."
"That is just fucking creepy dude don't ever say that again."
"Sorry but who knows we might even see that Human who always look like a dead fish buying ice cream."
"You mean Ayanokoji?"
"Yes him, whenever I see him I just can't help but wonder if he feels any other emotion's? Like imagine he's jerking off and when he-." Ok I'm gonna stop him here.
Didn't feel like listening to what his ass has to say so I just turned off the mental link we have which is hard and complicated to explain.
Like I said earlier Sacred Gear's are weapons created by God to give us Normal old Humans a chance to fight up against beings who are stronger then us, but there is a select few that are a cut above the rest. And those are called the Longinus's, as these Sacred Gear's have one thing in common.
