Layla was focused on her business trip, she decided to do it aiming to meet with colleagues to discuss a strategy for acquiring a 50% share of the company from Daniel.

Layla had just pulled out of the driveway, her car packed for the business trip ahead. She was determined to keep a low profile, avoiding any contact with Daniel, who had been  trying to reach her.

As she settled into the rhythm of the road, her phone buzzed with a new message. It was from Daniel.

**Daniel:** "I see you’re on the move. How about a little company?"

**Layla:** "I’m afraid I’m not in the mood for company, especially not yours."

**Daniel:** "Oh, come on. It’s been a while. I promise I’ll be on my best behavior."

**Layla:** "Best behavior? That’s not what I remember."

**Daniel:** "Well, maybe I’ve changed. Besides, what could be better than having a little friendly chat during a road trip?"

**Layla:** "I’m actually looking forward to some peace and quiet. Not sure you’re the right choice for that."

**Daniel:** "Touché. But you know, I can’t help but wonder how someone as charming as you is always on the run."

**Layla:** "Maybe I’m just trying to escape from all your ‘charm’."

**Daniel:** "You wound me. I’m just trying to make sure you’re not missing out on a little fun."

**Layla:** "If ‘fun’ means your constant interruptions, I think I’ll pass."

Layla tried to ignore him, focusing on the road. Daniel’s persistence continued.

**Daniel**: "You know, it's funny how you always manage to turn everything into a game. But you never really cared about us, did you?"

Layla’s grip tightened on the steering wheel.

**Daniel**:- you are always chasing after what you wanted , you don't think about others do you !???

**Layla**:- why should I think about others , did you ever think about me daniel? How you left me into pieces you hurted me exactly where I showed you wound !!!

Silence enveloped the car. Layla was hurt, her emotions swirling as she struggled to keep her composure. The road seemed endless, and the weight of Daniel's words pressed heavily on her. Her thoughts were a mix of pain and determination, but she remained focused on her destination, trying to push through the emotional turmoil....

She drove fast in anger lefting daniel's car in back ...

**Daniel**:- what did I just say ! I don't care about her then why I asked her to care about me??? What am I doing even!!! Am I feeling for her??!!

As Layla drove lost in thought, a sudden, violent collision shattered the silence. A truck barreled into her car on the bridge, crumpling it into a mangled heap. The impact threw Layla from the vehicle, leaving her sprawled on the roadside, bloodied and unconscious. The bridge, once a symbol of progress, now became a grim scene of chaos and danger.

Daniel who was the eye witnesses of the situation seeing layla's car flew in air and drop on the other side that left her car into pieces , Daniel, was in shock as he pulled over and ran to the scene. His heart raced as he saw Layla lying on the side of the road, covered in blood. Her car was a wreck, and the sight of her in such a state overwhelmed him with guilt. He knelt beside her, tears streaming down his face as he cradled her head. Desperately, he called out for help, his voice breaking with the weight of his remorse and fear. The sight of Layla's condition left him devastated, realizing the gravity of the situation he had unwittingly contributed to.

Daniel carefully lifted Layla’s limp, bloodied form, cradling her in his arms as he rushed to the nearby hospital. His shirt was soaked with her blood, and his heart pounded with a mixture of fear and desperation. Bursting through the emergency room doors, he shouted for help, his voice cracking with urgency.

As doctors and nurses rushed to her aid, Daniel fell to his knees, clutching at the feet of the lead doctor, his face etched with anguish. He pleaded, tears streaming down his cheeks

**Daniel**:-"Plz you have to save her. I don’t know what I’d do if she doesn’t make it.

The reality of the situation hit him hard; despite his efforts, he felt helpless and overwhelmed with guilt.

The medical team worked furiously to stabilize Layla, but Daniel’s cries and desperate pleas echoed through the waiting area, his pain palpable. As he sat in the hospital corridor, the weight of his actions and the severity of Layla’s condition bore down on him, leaving him to wrestle with a profound sense of remorse and sorrow.

Daniel, still in a state of panic and guilt, took out Layla’s phone and dialed her friend Bella's number, hoping to alert her about the accident.

When Bella answered, her voice was calm at first.

**Daniel**:- "Hello?"

"It's Daniel,"

he said, his voice shaking.

**Daniel**:- "Layla's been in a terrible accident. She’s at the hospital—"

The line went silent for a moment before Bella's voice broke with emotion.

**Bella**:-"What have you done to her, Daniel? How could you?"

Daniel’s heart sank.

**Daniel**:-"No, Bella, I swear I didn’t—"

Bella's sobs interrupted him.

**Bella**:- "I can’t believe you. You’re the reason she’s hurt. I know it. You were always a danger to her."

Desperate, Daniel tried to explain.

**Daniel**:-"I was following her, yes, but I wasn’t trying to hurt her. I saw the accident. I’m here at the hospital, trying to help her—"

Bella’s anguish only deepened.

**Bella**:-"You think you can just show up now and fix everything? You’re the last person who should be near her. Just stay away."

As the call ended, Daniel was left with a deep sense of despair, both from Bella’s harsh words and the overwhelming fear for Layla’s condition.
