The doctor delivered the news Bella had been longing for: Layla had regained her senses. Bella rushed to Layla's room, her heart pounding with hope and trepidation. She pushed open the door, and there was Layla, propped up in bed, her eyes fluttering open as Bella entered. Layla's gaze met Bella's, and a faint, tired smile tugged at her lips.

-"Layla!”

Bella exclaimed, her voice cracking with emotion. She hurried to her friend’s side, her eyes brimming with tears.

-“I was so scared. What happened?”

Layla looked at Bella, her voice soft and raspy.

“It was an accident… I don’t remember much. Just that everything went black.”

Bella’s face fell as the gravity of the situation sank in. She wrapped her arms around Layla, her own tears falling freely.

-“I’m so glad you’re awake. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

Layla’s embrace was weak but filled with warmth. She managed a small, reassuring squeeze.

“I’m sorry for worrying you,”

she whispered.

“I’m going to be okay. Just need some time to heal.”

Bella nodded, holding Layla a little tighter.

-“We’ll get through this together,”

she promised.

-“I’m here for you, no matter what.”

As Bella got up to buy some food for her...

They came in the hallway...

-" where's that bastard"

-" I think daniel had left Oliver... After what we had said..."

-" god sake I swear he leaves can't take him anymore"

*They left *

Layla lay in her hospital bed, her thoughts a swirl of confusion and pain. As she stared at the sterile ceiling, she wondered who had brought her from the accident scene.

DANIEL

That's the frist name came to her mind. But if he had been the one to bring her here, why hadn't he visited her yet?

Lost in her thoughts, Layla heard a familiar voice at the door. She turned to see Daniel standing there, a playful smirk on his face. His posture was relaxed, one hand raised in a mock salute.

-“Looking for me, babygirl?”

he teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Layla’s eyes widened, her emotions a mix of surprise and annoyance.

“Daniel? Where have you been? You just disappear and show up like this?”

Daniel strolled into the room, his grin widening.

-“I had to make a dramatic entrance, didn’t I? I see you’re awake and already plotting your next great escape.”

Daniel took a seat beside her bed, his gaze softening.

-“I was not sure if you want to see my face again! But when I heard you  awake I knew I had to come. Plus, I wanted to make sure you’re not plotting revenge against me while you’re stuck here.”

Layla chuckled, shaking her head.

“Revenge? Please, I’m too tired for that. But it’s good to see you. I didn’t expect you to care.”
