After Ava is safely dropped off at Storm's house and Hope had introduced herself to her mother and of course exchanged cell phone numbers, Hope and Josie are back in the car again,  driving to the grocery store.  Josie hasn't told Hope her surprise yet but she goes and buy's the ingredients needed for dinner.

Shortly after they arrive back at the house,  and Josie grabs a bottle of wine,  after she checks it won't cause any adverse affects with anyof Hope's medication,  she takes the ingredients and opens the backdoor.

"Follow me Hope" she says with a flirty smile

Hope wonders what the surprise could possibly be. But is happy to follow.

Again Josie  grabs Hope's hand,  and guides her all the way to the bottom part of her property.  She takes Hope into her Zen garden and turns a switch on which lights up opaque ferry lights giving a lovely serene feel to the garden.  Hope sees a barbeque which Josie is starting to fire up.  She opens the wine and grabs a couple of glasses out of the outdoor storage unit she has under the bbq.  She pours them both a glass full and hands one off to Hope.  Hope sits down on the bench seats.  "Aww Jo,  this is amazing." She sighs in contentment.

"I can see why Ava loved it so much.  Your home is full of your personality Josie and I love it."

"Thankyou, I thought you'd like it."  Josie says smiling.

She has two bags and empties them out  on the plate of the bbq   Again Hope can't stop being in awe of Josie's thoughtfulness.  She has bought for Hope fillet steak and Josie has plant based steak, she then adds vegetables obviously freshy picked from her garden.

After dinner Josie grabs a blanket and sits down right next to Hope andcovers them up with it.  It's a little cold outside but Josie has lit a brazier which is giving them some heat as well as the blanket.

Josie puts some music on just softly,  just for background ambience.  Hope hears that it's jazz music playing.

"How do you know me so well Jo?  Everything you do for me it's like you have a  window into my soul."

Josie can feel the blood running to her cheeks.  She wonders if she's being too intense.

"I guess all my training to become a doctor has helped me just listen topeople.  You've told me little things here and there and I remember. I can tell what is special to you.  Am I being too much?"

Hope puts her hand on Josie's thigh this time,  looks straight into those chocolate coloured eyes and says

"No, you're not being too much Jo,  and I don't think it's your doctor's training,  I think its just the way you are,  so thoughtful, so......... you."  a genuine smile expands across Hope's face,  her eyes sparkling.   " I have never been treated like this before,  i feel special.  You make me feel special Jo."

Blue meets brown and Hope lessens the distance between the two,  her eyes are asking permission, which is reciprocated by Josie's.  She leans in and kisses Josie softly on the lips.  She draws away only to come back again.  Josie deepening the kiss.

As there lips part their eyes take over,  contentment, happiness.  Hope is the first to say something,  completely shocked at what she had just initiated,  she looks nervously at Josie.

"I hope that was ok Jo?"

Josie is secretly exploding with happiness inside,  fire works are going off subconsciously.  She has kissed Hope Mikaelson,  her secret crush for so many years. Her soul is dancing. Birds are chirping,  violins playing.   Ooh hang on she has to answer,  she got distracted.
