5. Closed in a room

Two weeks later

Aditi's Pov

Ruhan said he would send a pdf. I needed to study. I will just text him!

:hey ruhan, can you send me the pdf? We have an assignment tomorrow. And it's the first class.. if you're free please send me.

And after a few minutes I got a text back..

:hey cutie, the professor is my dad's friend and he said he won't be coming tomorrow morning. So chill and come one hour late...

Wow thank god! I was tired. I can sleep. I saw my roommate on her phone as I took a paper before writing

'do you need anything to eat? I am going to the sandwich shop.. I can bring you a parcel if you want' I wrote and went towards her.. she looked up from her phone and saw the note..

She then looked at me as I softly smiled forwarding the chit.. she took it and opened it before seeing what I wrote.. "I am not hungry" she said as my smile dropped a little.. I nodded and walked towards the door..

"Aditi, wait" I heard her as I looked at her.. "let me come with you. I want to drink coffee" she ended, before wearing a sweater making me smile again... Her name was chaya.. and she really is sweet..

We silently walked out and after a few minutes she talked again.. "so can I ask something? If you don't mind?" She questioned as I nodded indicating her to ask.. "couldn't you speak from birth or...?" She stopped as I looked at her...

Her eyes slightly widened.. "I.. um I am sorry.. I shouldn't have...." I smiled at her silliness.. why is she apologizing? I unlocked my phone and typed... 'i got a neurological condition when I was in 10th.. and since then I couldn't speak' I showed her as she made a oooh face..

"I am in different class.. I wished we were in the same class. It must be difficult for you to ask doubts to the professors right? If you have any doubt you can ask me.. I will try to help you as much as possible" she smiled and suddenly I remembered noor..

I missed her.. I nodded and then we ate before heading back.. I don't have first class. Yay! That means extra sleep.

Next day

Aditi's Pov

I happily walked towards my class and a small frown appeared on my face when I saw the professor walking out.. he saw me and shook his head.. "why didn't you attend the first class?? I said it was important Aditi.. you lost marks" he said and left..

What in the world is happening? I quickly entered and saw Ruhan sitting on his usual place.. I placed the bag on my bench as he saw me.. "why didn't you attend?? You missed the assignment" Ruhan said making me frown more...

I quickly opened the messages and showed him as his eyes widened and then after a few seconds he let out a sigh and soft groan.. "I swear to god that Arjun!" He muttered and I got to know it was him..

"I am so sorry Aditi.. it must be Arjun.. I had given him my phone. Fuck.. let's convince the professor to give you a chance. I am sure he will allow it.." Ruhan ended as I let out a breath and nodded.

During lunch we walked out and I saw Arjun talking to someone. Asshole. I will kill him. "Arjun.. manh.. seriously the trick you pulled out is so bad.." Ruhan said still walking..

Arjun looked at me with a smirk and I knew it was a dirty smirk.. but it was the closest smile I have seen... He never smiles and the smirk is almost like the smile.. but an evil one..

he looks good. But his good looks ain't everything if he got that dirty personality.. "Don't waste your time requesting the professor.. he won't allow it" he said as I rolled my eyes at him..
