16. Aditi is a saviour

Arjun's Pov

"I heard she can't speak. I won't ever accept her. Breakup with her." My jaw clenched. "Never. I love her. If you force me or do something stupid then I will leave this house. Keep in mind. Don't try me mom. You know I can do that" I ended before taking my keys and going out.. "I will stay with Ruhan tonight" I slammed the door shut.

I can do anything she says but not this. I will never leave her no matter what. Even if that means I should leave this damn house or quit the job. I can find any job. I need her. She is my life. Without her there is nothing.

"Jyothi" Arjun's dad, Madhav called his wife.. she looked at him.. stressed. "I never said anything to you.. your decision was always right but do not judge her.. yes she cannot speak but let's meet her first.. let's see if she is a good person and then decide. I am sure our son must have chosen a good woman. He is an adult and he knows what he wants. And you cannot stop him because he's stubborn... Just like you" Madhav said as Jyothi glared at him. "Ok" she said at last.

Time skip - Next morning

Arjun's mom was waiting for Arjun in dining table as Arjun comes inside the house. "Fresh up and come eat breakfast" his mom says as he gives her a nod and goes. After a while he comes down and starts eating. "Bring her home.. I need to talk to her" She said as Arjun looked at her surprised. He looked at his dad as he gave Arjun a wink.

"God, I love you dad. Okay but I will not change my decision. She is sweet. You will get to know once I get her here. And it's because of her I passed all my subjects. Just so you know.." he quickly said as his mom looked at him surprised. Because it was the first time he was speaking so much and that too so happily..

Time Skip - One week later

Arjun's Pov

'what? No.. I am scared. I really am.. I can't..' Aditi signed as her face became pale.. "don't worry baby. I will be near you all the time. No-one will say anything to you ok? I promise. I don't care what they think but its the first time mom has agreed. So I think she has already agreed.. so don't worry sweetheart. I will never change. Just keep that in mind. No matter what" I ended as I saw her pouting..

I leaned down and kissed her lips softly... "And it's been a year since we started dating." I ended as I saw her eyes widening. 'sorry. I forgot' she signed and looked down. I chuckled and squessihed her cheeks. If you are sorry then get ready. We are going to meet them today. Don't say no. I have already told them.

She looked at me with wide eyes and hit my chest. "I will be waiting here. Go in and dress up and come" I muttered as she stomped and went in. After ten minutes I saw her coming down. She was wearing a kurti and her hair free. She looked so good. Like a goddess. I am sure they will love her.

Time skip - Arjun's house

Aditi's Pov

Arjun held my hand as we went in.. it was huge. His house. Ofcourse he was the son of a billionaire. What if they think that I am dating him for his money? I saw a few aunties.. they looked like helpers because they had a uniform..

And then I saw a woman.. she was definitely Arjun's mother. Arjun had her eyes. Cat eyes.. I joined my hands as a Namaste and slightly smiled. She also smiled but I could tell it was a fake one. Suddenly I felt scared.

"Aditi... I am Arjun's mom. Jyothi" she said. Her voice sounded authoritative. Just by listening to her I got to know that everyone listened to her.

"Do you need anything to eat? Tea? Coffe? Juice?" She questioned as I shook my head as no. She gave a nod and looked at Arjun.. "Arjun, I need to talk to her... Alone." She said as I looked at Arjun.. "no mom.. whatever you need to speak, you will speak infront of me." Arjun ends and squeezed my hand..
