Filler Chapter

CHAY'S POV

Macau and I were watching a basketball match on TV when we heard knocks on the door. Macau went to open, speaking to someone out of sight, then popped his head back in at me.

"Chay! I will be back soon, ok?"

I nodded, stuffing my mouth with popcorn as I turned back to the TV when I heard the clearing of a voice. I turned to see P Vegas.

"P!" I stood up quickly, abandoning my popcorn. I was stunned to see him.

"Hey Chay, sorry to disturb you. Im the one who told Macau I wanted some time alone with you."

Oh. I was confused. I looked at him until he pulled a bag from behind him. The logo on it looked familiar.

Oh no. Oh, wait. Did he?!

"P!" I cried out. "Did you go buy that suit?!"

"In my defence, it looks really nice on you, Chay. And it's not often you will always experience prom."

I glared at him. I nagged about the value of money, why precisely I didn't want to spend so much given its only a once in a while thing and how he shouldn't be spending so carelessly on me. Meanwhile, P Vegas quietly took the jacket out of the bag, slipped it on for me, and made me stand in front of the mirror to see myself. He stood behind me, his hands on my shoulders, peering at my reflection alongside me.

VEGAS'S POV

"You look good, Chay. I know you don't want it and probably upset with me for spending so much but it's really nice on you. Just take it as a present from me ok? Just like how you had fulfilled my Christmas wish of a regular day out. Take it I fulfilled this wish of yours please."

Chay was silent; just looking at himself in the mirror. He finally nodded, his eyes turning a little teary. Chay turned to look at me.

"Thank you for this P. It's really sweet of you."

I just nodded, not saying a word. Chay then hugged me tightly holding onto me which would have been reciprocated by me if Macau didnt come back in. He came in and Chay let go of me, showing him the suit. Macau gushed over how handsome Chay looked and Chay just looked mighty proud.

I told both boys I was making my move back when Macau held onto my hand and insisted I stay and watch a movie with them. Chay nodded too and that's how I found myself with these two boys and shortly after; joined by Tankhun. Movie night was a loud noisy affair but I had just blocked everything out as my eyes kept straying to Chay more often than not throughout the night.

After the first move which was a romantic flick and which I almost slept through, the 2nd one was a horror thriller flick. Tankhun and Chay kept screaming while Macau and I enjoyed it completely! Chay huddled into Macau and who held onto him but Tankhun was also busy screaming. I looked at Macau, clearly not going to play hero to him!

Macau rolled his eyes at me and smacked me while telling Chay he was going to go comfort Tankhun for a bit. I watched as Chay nodded and tried to be strong by barely opening his eyes. He did look so afraid. I sighed and went to sit next to Chay. I tugged at his hand and pulled him closer to me.

Chay looked at me and I leaned over to whisper, "Uhm it's fine. You can hold onto me."

Chay looked surprised but did not question it lest I changed my mind and held onto me quickly. I just tried to wipe the smile off my face as I let him hold on and looked away only to catch Macau giving me a dirty look. He was pissed at me for playing hero with Chay and not Tankhun and he was left to handle Tankhun. I just smirked at Macau, not knowing how this very action will bite me in the ass, days to come.
