Being a captive of vampires, you are rescued or at least you thought you are until you feel yourself grabbed and tossed in the back of a vehicle. Your body receives more bumps and bruises when you are tossed like a potato sack by one of the vampires trying to move you to a new location. The nest got invaded by a group of men and at least one woman. All you know is that now you lay on cold metal wondering where you are being taken and pray that the ones who tried to rescue you before can do it again...successfully.

Despite your hands being tied behind your back, with your feet planted firmly against the floor, you push yourself along the metal dragging your body until you hit a wall. You blindly maneuver yourself upright and realize you are in a van. The driver jerks the van causing you to fall sideways. You grimace and groan feeling your open cuts hit against something hard. You fight back the tears and get yourself up right once more.

An unhinged, crazy chuckle escapes from your mouth thinking how this is the moment your father trained you for as a child. He would put you in hypothetical scenarios and quiz you on how you would escape or solve it. Your father was a cop then became a detective that led him to his death. Your mother never remarried but tried to continue his teachings to you even though it was never the same.

How to escape from vampires was never a lesson.

You try to fight against the rope to untie yourself but it's useless. You feel the van being driven more and more erratically. A loud thud comes from the roof of the van. As you scream in fear, the driver yells for you to shut up. You don't listen and holler several obscenities his way.

The doors fly open during the chaos. You scream louder preparing for yourself to be thrown out onto the highway at God knows what rate of speed. Time to tuck and roll, you think to yourself as you prepare to curl up your body out the moving vehicle. Then, you hear another hard thud and footsteps coming towards you. The driver begins to yell and curse at someone other than you. When hands are felt around your head, you panic and try to kick whoever it is touching you. When your blindfold is removed, (y/c/e) are met with mesmerizing green ones amongst a rugged, handsome face.

"Shhh, shhh, sweetheart. It's okay. I'm Dean Winchester and I am getting you out of here," the man gives a warm smile and with a palm to your back, he leans you forward against him and cuts the rope binding your hands. Intoxicating scents of leather and whiskey tease your senses briefly. When the two of you meet eye to eye, there's a moment as if time stopped, something you have only read about in books, until the rough ride jolted the two of you out of the trance. "Let's go," he rocks back in his heels and takes both your hands to pull you up and steadies you as best as he can. The driver continues to jerk the wheel causing you and Dean to lose balance. You notice a black Impala suddenly appears at the back of the van. Dean brings you to the edge of the vehicle, both of you bracing yourselves against the frame of the doors.

"You gotta jump!" Dean yells over the noise. Your eyes go wide, shaking your head furiously. "There is no other way. That's my brother, Sam. He will take care of you," Dean nods his head towards the car. You glance over and see the driver encouraging you to jump. Your stomach does somersaults. "Jump!" Dean instructs you again to jump while pulling something out of his jacket pocket. You scream and jump onto the moving vehicle. You grab ahold at the top of the hood for dear life. Your body feels like it's being tossed around but you keep gripping ahold of the hood. That's when you hear an explosion and feel heat coming from behind you. Your mind goes to the man who saved you but before you can scream his name, you feel something hard land beside you.

"Hey! You good?!" Dean loudly asks as the vehicle begins to slow down. You nod weakly. The car swiftly turns sideways to a hard stop. With the engine running, the driver gets out and immediately helps you off the hood and gain balance back upright again. He goes to reach for his brother who waves him off while he continues to lay back on the car.

Dean breathes heavily, closing his eyes momentarily. You watch his breathing slow down right before he rolls off the hood and somehow managing to land on his feet. "Let's get the hell out of here," he encouraged, pointing a finger towards the road. "Sammy," he motions for the keys and catches them perfectly from his brother. Before getting into the car, Dean gently grasp your wrist to stop you. "You never told me your name, sweetheart," he said smoothly. You introduce yourself and he repeats your name. "Hmm, (Y/N), well, let's get you someplace safe," he gives you a comforting smile. Something inside you tells you that you can trust them. You and Dean climb into the car to join Sam and hightail it out of there.

Sam and Dean begin to explain how they found you and that all the vampires were eliminated. They finally ask you how long you were in the warehouse. You shrug. "Lost track. Maybe a week? They fed on me a couple times but said that they were saving me and a few other girls for their boss. Whatever that all entailed," you shiver remembering details of your horrible incident. Dean notices the far off look you get while remembering your unusual abduction. He notices you blink away tears before turning your head back towards the front of the car and catching a glimpse from one of the men who saved your life. His eyes quickly shift back to the road while he clears his throat.

"So, um, is there anyone we can call for you? Or we can bring you to your house? Doesn't matter how far it is," Sam inquired, taking out his cell phone and pulling up the gps.

You nervously glance down at your hands. You bite your bottom lip before you reply shamefully, "I uh—the night I got kidnapped was the night I left my ex-boyfriend. I moved in with my friend with a couple of duffle bags and the clothes on my back. I decided to go out and have a couple of drinks with her to take my mind off things and well...," you roll your eyes while looking out the window. "I guess I should let her know I'm alright," you dryly laughed. "Can I borrow a phone?"

The brothers exchange a glance. "You are more than welcome to stay with us until you are back on your feet," Dean offered, his green eyes piercing back at mine as he adjusts the rearview mirror.

"I, I don't know. I don't even know you," you settled back into the corner of the backseat. Your mind runs with the offer that is presented in front of you. Sam turns around and gives a warm smile.

"Well, how about you stay at least the next couple of nights and you can decide if you want to stay longer. Either way, we don't mind and we have plenty of room," Sam laughed.

"Yeah, (Y/N), we have plenty of room. Just wait till you see the space," Dean flashes a smile my way in the rearview mirror.

"Alright, yeah," is all you can get out as you agree to go with your heroes. You don't know what tomorrow holds but you are alive. That's what is most important.

You are alive.
