The day of the wedding arrived, and the palace was abuzz with activity. But in a surprising twist, it was Hua who emerged in the red wedding dress, her fairy magic allowing her to perfectly mimic Yueling's appearance.

Meanwhile, in her chamber, Yueling sat at her desk, pen in hand, writing a letter of apology and appreciation to her parents. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she expressed her gratitude for their love and understanding, and her regret for any pain she might cause them.

As she finished writing, Yue appeared beside her, a small pouch of gold coins and a note from Hua in her mouth. Yueling smiled, knowing that Hua had planned their escape carefully.

The ceremony proceeded without a hitch, with Hua convincingly playing the role of Yueling. Liwei's eyes never left hers, his expression a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

Finally, the moment of truth arrived. Liwei reached out to lift the veil, his fingers brushing against Hua's cheek. As the silk fell away, revealing Hua's face, Liwei's eyes widened in shock.

But to everyone's surprise, instead of outrage or anger, a slow smile spread across his face. "You are even more beautiful than I imagined," he whispered, his eyes locked onto Hua's.

Hua's face flushed with pleasure, and she smiled up at Liwei, her eyes shining with happiness. The court erupted into cheers and applause, and even Emperor Tianyu and Yueling's parents couldn't help but smile at the unexpected turn of events.

As Liwei and Hua shared a tender kiss, Yueling watched from afar, a smile on her face. She knew that her friends had found true love, and that she had been given a second chance at freedom and happiness...

With a deep breath, Yueling dressed up in her simple traveling clothes. She tucked the letter into a messenger's hand, and slipped out of the palace, making her way to the waiting carriage.

As the horses began to move, Yueling felt a sense of freedom she had never known before. She glanced out the window, watching the palace recede into the distance, and smiled.

Yueling settled into the plush cushions of the carriage, feeling a sense of relief wash over her as the horses' hooves clip-clopped away from the palace. She had done it - she had escaped the arranged marriage and was finally on her way to freedom.

As the carriage rattled down the winding road, Yueling gazed out the window at the passing scenery. Rolling hills, verdant forests, and sparkling streams blurred together in a colorful haze.

Yue, who had been quiet until now, poked her head out from beneath the carriage seat. "Where are we headed, Princess?" she asked, her whiskers twitching with curiosity.

Yueling smiled, feeling a sense of excitement build in her chest. "We're going to the city of Jiangzhou," she said. "I've heard it's a place of wonder and opportunity. We'll start anew there, just you and I."

Yue's ears perked up, and she let out a little mew of approval. Yueling laughed, feeling a sense of joy she hadn't felt in months.

But as the carriage rounded a bend in the road, Yueling's heart skipped a beat. A group of rough-looking men on horseback was blocking the way ahead, their eyes fixed menacingly on the carriage...

As Yueling stepped out of the carriage to confront the men, a black arrow suddenly whizzed through the air, striking the carriage door mere inches from her face. Yueling's heart racing, she ducked back inside, her eyes wide with fear.

Yue, sensing her distress, let out a fierce hiss and sprang from the carriage, her tiny body arcing through the air to land squarely on the shoulder of the nearest attacker. The man yelped in surprise, stumbling backward as Yue dug her claws deep into his armor.

The other men, taken aback by the ferocity of the small cat, hesitated for a moment before charging forward. Yueling, seizing the opportunity, grabbed a nearby parasol and leapt from the carriage, using it to deflect a flurry of blows.

As the fight intensified, Yueling spotted a figure emerging from the trees - a mysterious woman with piercing green eyes and a bow slung over her shoulder. With a swift motion, the woman loosed another black arrow, striking the leader of the attackers with unerring precision...

Just as the mysterious woman's arrow struck its mark, a dark, ominous energy swept over the battlefield. The air grew thick with malevolent presence, and Yueling felt a chill run down her spine. The Demon Emperor, Zhong Kui, emerged from the shadows, his eyes blazing with fierce inner power.

With a single, mighty punch, he struck the ground, sending shockwaves through the earth. The impact was so immense that the ground cracked and splintered, sending Yueling stumbling backward. As she struggled to regain her footing, Zhong Kui unleashed a dark, swirling energy that enveloped her like a shroud.

Yueling felt her eyelids growing heavy, her consciousness slipping away. The mysterious woman's cry of warning was the last thing she heard before succumbing to the darkness, her body crumpling to the ground as if struck by an unseen force.

As Yueling fell into a deep, unnatural slumber, Zhong Kui's gaze turned to the mysterious woman, his eyes narrowing into slits. "You dare to interfere with my plans?" he growled, his voice like thunder. "You will pay for your insolence..."
