Azura's eyes flashed. "You think I'd hide treachery? "
Ophelia stood firm. "The prophecy speaks of deception, and your cryptic smiles aren't helping."
Merlin intervened. "Ladies, please. We're on the same side."
Azura snorted. "Easy for you to say, Merlin. You're not the one being accused."
Ophelia shot back, "At least I don't have a mysterious past shrouded in mist."
Azura retorted, "Mysteries are my business. You're just jealous of my enigmatic charm."
Ophelia rolled her eyes. "Enigmatic charm? You mean 'I'm-plotting-something-but-won't-tell-you' face?"
Azura huffed. "How dare you!"
Merlin chuckled. "Ladies, this isn't a competition for most dramatic goddess."
Aza appeared, chuckling. "What's the commotion?"
Azura and Ophelia spoke in unison, "She thinks I'm the betrayer!"
Aza raised an eyebrow. "You're both being ridiculous."
Just then, Melantha walked in.
Azura, Ophelia, and Aza turned, their gazes lingering.
Melantha's eyes narrowed. "What's this? Am I the new villain?"
Merlin hesitated. "A prophecy... uncertainty... Azazel's sister..."
Melantha threw up her hands. "Not this again! I'm not my brother's keeper."
Azura quipped, "Well, you do share a family resemblance... to darkness and chaos."
Ophelia snickered. "Azura, that was low."
Melantha shot back, "At least I don't have a 'I'm-plotting-something-but-won't-tell-you' face."
The room erupted into laughter.
Aza grinned. "I think we've established no one trusts anyone."
Merlin chuckled. "Time for some godly team-building exercises."
Azura crossed her arms. "I still don't trust you, Melantha."
Ophelia chimed in, "Yes, how do we know you're not playing both sides?"
Melantha threw up her hands. "I'm trying to save my brother, not destroy the realms."
Aza intervened, "Ladies, please—"
But Azura cut her off. "No, Aza, we need answers."
Ophelia added, "And assurances."
Melantha's face reddened. "You want assurances? Fine. I'll give you assurances."
Just as Melantha was about to continue, the door swung open.
Marshall, the bartender, walked in, followed by Kaiel and Aron.
"Hey, folks! What's the commotion?" Marshall asked.
Kaiel's eyes scanned the room. "Looks like a goddess showdown."
Aron chuckled. "Should we grab popcorn?"
Azura shot them a withering look. "This is serious."
Ophelia explained, "Melantha's been in contact with Azazel."
Kaiel's expression turned grave. "That's troubling."
Aron nodded. "We need to know more."
Melantha took a deep breath. "I'll tell you everything."
Marshall, sensing an opportunity, slid behind the bar.
"Drinks on the house, folks! Gods' gossip night, apparently."
As Marshall poured drinks, the tension eased slightly.
But Azura and Ophelia still eyed Melantha warily.
Kaiel leaned against the bar. "Melantha, start talking."
Aron added, "And don't leave out any details."
Melantha nodded, taking a deep breath.
"Where do I even begin . "
Here's the scene where Melantha reveals her visions:
Melantha's expression turned serious.
"I've been keeping a secret," Melantha began.
The room fell silent, intrigued.
"Visions," Melantha continued. "Visions of my brother, Azazel."
Azura's eyes narrowed. "What kind of visions?"
Melantha's voice dropped to a whisper.
"Visions of his struggle, his inner turmoil," Melantha revealed.
Ophelia's brow furrowed. "Turmoil? Azazel's Chaos incarnate."
Melantha shook her head.
"That's what we've been led to believe," Melantha said.
"But in my visions, I see a different Azazel," Melantha continued.
Aza leaned forward.
"Tell us, Melantha," Aza urged.
Melantha took a deep breath.
"Azazel's torn between darkness and light," Melantha explained.
Kaiel's eyes widened. "Light? You mean goodness?"
Melantha nodded.
"A spark within him, fighting against the darkness," Melantha said.
The room fell silent, pondering Melantha's words.
Marshall, the bartender, spoke up.
"Melantha, how do you know these visions are real?" Marshall asked.
Melantha's conviction was unwavering.
"I feel it in my soul," Melantha replied.
Just then, Marshall's eyes flicked toward the door.
"Looks like we've got company," Marshall said.
Kaiel, Aron, and the others turned to see who entered next.
