12: meeting

They were in the busy meeting room of the ministry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny and Harry were at the front, on a raised platform, eventually joined by Draco and Scorpius.

'Thank you all for joining us today' Hermione announced turning to Harry. No one was quiet. 'Bloody Hell' Ron muttered 'silence, the room Hermione'. She nodded, doing so. Instantly the room was quiet. All eyes turned on them.
'Right as I was saying, thank you all for coming here' she said with a clap of her hands. 'We've got something important to tell you so please if we could have your full attention' everyone's eyes we're on them anyway. 'Right' she continued. 'For about one year now, we've had no shown contact or sightings of anyone involved in dark magic, or with Voldemort's daughter for that matter, until now, Harry. '
'Yes as the minister was saying we've sighted or at least heard' He glanced at scorpius. 'You may be wondering why you have not, because normally some form of talk or gossip would go round, well we've kept it private for a reason but now we need to tell you, since my son and his.' He mouthed, is it ok, to Scorpius, who nodded. '.. Boyfriend for that matter are the main targets of this' There were a few gasps, but nothing Scorpius didn't expect. 'In fact a might as well pass, over to him now' he nodded at Scorpius.
'Thanks Harry' he looks worried. 'So as Harry was saying yes they've had to keep this secret, for some private reasons, but there was a break out from Azkaban a few days from now' his vision was going blurring but he continued. 'Yes you may be wondering who' he answered to the gasps. Someone raised their hand. 'Yes professor McGonagall'
'Who was it Malfoy, and where's Potter? , you're normally not alone, or without each other'
'Delphi, Delphi broke out, and Albus well we know he's with him' He looked as though he was about to cry and the mention of his name.
There were gasps all around them. 'How is that possible? Is it true? What? ' people said.

Scorpius' vision was going blurry by the second. Next thing he knew the back of his neck was hurting again. Burning even. Really really bad. 'Scorpius, does your neck hurt? ' Ginny had grabbed him before he fell to the ground.
'Y-yes' he said his hands placed at the back of his neck.
'Remove your hands so I can check' he did so.
'H-harry look' Ginny gasped hands clutching her mouth and the X marked scar on the back of his neck.
'Holy crap, he really is a horcux isn't he? ' said Ron. The meeting had obviously been disbanded because no one was there, except them of course.
'Yep' replied Harry 'this really is war then' Ginny and Harry interlocked eyes. The couple stared at each other for a few seconds.
'How long left, Until well,.. For Albus I mean' Draco said giving his son a worried look.
'10 minute, only ten minutes' Hermione said checking her watch.
