Chapter 16

Ha, really thought you had me, did you? ' she said almost mocking. They'd forgotten she could fly. But her movements were so quick they couldn't catch her. First their wands were thrown to the ground by rapid fire spells. Next thing the windows,,smashed and broken, and she disappeared.

'Well at least she bought the time turner, Right? '
I don't think she did, Ron'  Ginny said grabbing a key to unlock Albus' chains.
'How come? ' He asked. Scorpius tapped him. 'Look' sure enough it was destroyed on the floor.
'Ah, see what you mean now'

'There has to be some way we can stop her through'
'Honestly dad we asked ourselves that same question before'  His son said, still dripping with blood, no where near out of the chains. Harry rubbed his eyes. 'There has to be some way'
'There's not' Scorpius said, all eyes were on him now.
'What do you mean there's NOT??!!! ' Exclaimed Ron.
'Yeah his right since well you know he is a horcux and for all we know she may have more' Hermione said.
'What like that blasted bird or something?'
'It's likely' Albus said, released from one chain now, Scorpius noticed his wrist was all cut and bloody,  the inner bit of the chains seemed to be lined with sharp spikes.

By the time the boys got to bed it was later than 2 in the morning, Harry had agreed to let Albus stay over for once.
Albus' cuts would take a long time to heal, they were deep enough to nearly reach the bone. The one on his cheek was the worst, it stung like mad, probably not as bad as Scorpius' scar though, Albus thought.

Scorpius was the first one to fall asleep, though he wouldn't let Albus go. That was ok though because Albus didn't what to let Scorpius go either, although they'd only left each other for an hour it was traumatic.

They awoke the next morning to a daily prophet article that's title read, Potter kidnapped how's Malfoy going to cope by Rita Skeeter. They'd expected something like this (Scorpius did warn Albus that he's dad had told almost the entire ministry they were dating) so it was nothing new.

They went back to Hogwarts that following week, getting no less stares than usual. They were nearly always together if not then they'd be dying in their separate classrooms, from being apart.

A few weeks after the Delphi attack/kidnapping, Scorpius found himself alone in charms, the only class whom he did not share with Albus'. He found himself going into a daze, then pain shot from his neck, he was going mad, hissing noises started to invade his head, he couldn't control it. 'Kill or bring the boy and the Timer Turner' they kept repeating over and over...
