Peyton came up with the idea of me spending a whole day with Calvin doing things that we enjoy doing as a form of an icebreaker to get acquainted with each other again. This way you and Calvin will be having some fun while relearning things about each other, those were Peyton's words not mine. This is a good idea, I will give it to her.

I was placing my hair in a low ponytail in the front of the mirror of my bathroom when my phone lit up on the bathroom's countertop. I checked myself in the mirror before I picked up my phone from the counter, I turned off the light and I walked out of my bathroom. I unlocked my phone, quickly clicking on the text messages, realizing that I had one unread text message from Calvin.

Calvin Lewis: I am going to leave my apartment now.

Me: How long is it going to take you to get here?

Calvin Lewis: According to the GPS, I should get there in fifteen minutes.

Me: Okay, see you soon, drive safe Calvin.

As I hit send to the text message, I placed my phone in the back pocket of my jeans. Knowing that we are going to be outdoors the entire day, I decided to wear a red crop top with my black ripped jeans paired with my worn red low rise vans. I picked up my black jean jacket and purse from my desk then I exited my bedroom and headed down the stairs.

"Calvin is his way over here." I announced to my best friends, joining them in the living room.

"Bree, you are actually spending an entire day alone with Calvin?" Peyton asked me, sounding a little bit shocked as she reached for the TV remote and hit pause to the tv show that her boyfriend and I were watching.

"It was a good suggestion, so yes I am. Why is it so shocking that I am going to be spending a whole day with Calvin willingly?" I asked her, sitting down on my usual spot on the couch.

"I know it was but thank you. It's a little bit shocking because Calvin and Samuel re-entered our lives almost one month ago." Peyton replied to my question, looking at me over her boyfriend's shoulder.

"Bree, I am super happy for you that you feel ready to be in the same vicinity as Calvin." Tristan said, joining our conversation, adjusting his spot on the couch so he was facing me. Tristan looked at me with a small proud smile on his face.

"Honestly, I thought it would have taken a long time to get adjusted to them being back in our lives. But I feel ready to get to know Calvin again." I confessed to my best friends, making eye contact with both of them.

"I am happy for you, Bree. I can't wait to hear how your day with Calvin went when you are back." Peyton told me, showing me a happy smile.

"Hey Aubree Rose." Calvin greeted me, standing with his back against his car.

I closed the front door behind me then I walked towards him. "Hello, good morning, Calvin. Thank you for agreeing and picking up this morning." I thanked him, as a small smile appeared on my lips.

"You're welcome, Aubree. When you text me with the idea the past weekend. I agreed because I want to spend time with you and I am curious to get to know this version of Aubree." Calvin said, stopped leaning his back from his car and opened the passenger' s door for me.

"I am glad to hear because I am looking forward to re-meeting this new Calvin." I told him, getting into his car and putting on my seat belt.

Before Calvin closed the passenger's door, he looked down at me and smiled. Then he walked around the front of his car and hopped into the driver's seat.
