A wise man once said "A hero isn't Invincible. It means you're brave enough to stand up and do what's right." We stood by those words. Til we couldn't. Why? Why would we allow ourselves to stand up for what's right and risk our lives doing so? Let's start from the beginning. This is the story on how they, the Universes Greatest Heroes... became the Universes Greatest Threats.

In the beautiful day on the Planet Earth, The Protectors of Earth has been gathered into a Ball, celebrating the 50th Anniversary since the Legion of the Globes started. Many World Leaders, Politicians, Even Heroes from different Countries arrived to be on this day. The Ball was held at the Museum of the Legion of the Globe, The Hall of Peace. There was singing, dancing, drinks that many can love into. It was a Wonderful Day. The Leader of the Team, The Guardian was on the side, watching the People dance and have fun. He had his back leaned against the wall, drinking champagne. The man He called a son to him, Tekina Tengai, also known as the Blockade, would come and join him. His son, Clark named his Grandson after Tekina, while Blockade named his son after himself. Two Tekinas. Funny. He would look at him, before looking at the people that were having a fun time.

"You know, you used to be fun at these types of Parties. Besides, Brooding is more Horus thing." He said with smirk on his face, making a small joke on the fact I looked like I was angry. I just chuckled and responded to his joke.

"Yeah, Well. Getting old is on my bucket list. Junior staying home?" After He replied to his joke, He asked about his son. Tekina would lean his back against the wall with him.

"Yeah, He decided he wanted to stay home. You?"

"Clarks around here somewhere. Marcia, Tanya, Uko and Tekina are going out together. It's a "girl and boys' night."

"Oh, that kid is going to Suffer..."

"Most definitely."

They both stared out onto the Crowd, hearing their talking and the laughter. Tekina gave him this look as if he knew something was up with him. So, he answered him.

"Five Hundred Years. Five Hundred Years I've done this job... Never once regretted it. It gave me the role of a Husband, a Father, a grandfather. And This team."

"Getting old sucks, doesn't it?"

He said with a smirk, and He elbowed him in the rib, making him laugh.

"Hey c'mon! You and I both know this world is better with us in it. Maybe one of our kids take your little mantle."

"Your on, kiddo."

They both laughed with each other as they joked around.

Clark then arrived seeing Tekina. They would both hug each other. The two were like brothers. Clark understood what Tekina was to him, but Guardian still called Clark his son. While Tekina is the oldest, Clark still refers to him as big brother. Years back, Guardian formally adopted Tekina into his family. When Clark was born, Tekina was excited to have a little brother. Even if he was adopted in our family.

"How are you doing, little brother?" Tekina asks after hugging him and patting his shoulder

"Ah you know, running around the universe, being the New Symbol of Faith, It's a hard ass job." Clark replied with a joking manner.

"And whose fault was that for taking it?" Tekina replied to him.

"Mine." Clark replied and they both began laughing. Guardian was happy to have his two sons together like this.
