The Ring Of Terror

Chapter 1: Trapped

Catie is 21 years old and she is living in an apartment building, 

"Well I am glad I am finally out of college," Catie said as she smiled and sighed.

Catie hadn't kept in touch with her family after her parents got a divorce and she was already a very closed off person before that. 

Her apartment had junk and stuff everywhere and it wasn't that impressive but it was home.

Catie walked over to a fridge and grabbed a jug of milk and poured it into a glass.

She walked by the mirror as she drank the glass of milk.

Catie had blue eyes tan colored skin and brown somewhat messy hair and she wore a dark gray sweater.

She looked on her phone for places to find cool birds and she then found a website for where to find owls. "Havenwood forest is home to many beautiful sights and lots of animals can be found there at night including owls," Catie read.

"This is perfect I should go there tonight," Catie said.

She walked over and turned on the tv and looked around on different streaming services for shows to watch. 

"Theres nothing new out maybe I should rewatch something?" Catie said to herself. 

"Kool Cat Hero's never gets old I will just re-watch that," Catie spoke as she went on Tubio a streaming service.  Catie started the first episode and ate popcorn as she watched it.

Later at night she got in her car which was parked outside the apartment building and she drove off toward Havenwood forest. Catie's car was a rental and it was a bit old but it worked.

She looked at Google maps as she drove down the highway.

"There it is," Catie said as she drove to an area outside the woods.

She parked outside there were several pines trees everywhere.

"Wow," Catie said as she looked up at the moon. 

Catie climbed out of her car and pulled her phone out.

She shined her phones light and saw a gate blocking off the woods.

"Its Blocked off by a fence, Hmm I am going to have to find a door or an area that isn't closed off," Catie said as she started walking.

*Why is there a fence here anyway?* Catie wondered.

She kept on walking but it seemed like the fence kept going.

"There has to be a gate somewhere," Catie said as breathed heavily.

Catie suddenly bumped into a metal sign.

*OW* Catie said as she stumbled back.

Catie looked at the sign it pointed over to where a gate was.

"Oh theres a gate," Catie said as she walked over and opened it and walked inside.

"Its really weird how the forest is so fenced off, It must have been this area," Catie reassured herself.

She used her phones light to watch where she was going. 

Then she heard the sound of an owl hooting nearby.

Catie walked quietly as she followed the sound of the owls hooting.

Suddenly Catie saw some and covered her mouth in horror and disgust a dead deer laid on the ground with its stomach torn open. 

"Oh my god," Catie said as her face turned green and she ran over near a tree and vomited.

*Did a bear or wolf do that? if they did why isn't it all gone?* Catie worried.
