Mark looks at his father with fear and worry as the takes a deep breath. The King begins. " Long ago our family had powerful abilities, legends speak of powerful rulers, but the power went dormant 7 generations back it seems you have given the power of old. A power that I have never obtained. Perhaps you will... he trailed off and slowly left the room.
Mark though about what was said then realized his father is scared of him he had the ability to overthrow his father and take the throne. But would he take the chance as Mark or as master?
The air seemed different the next morning as he went down for breakfast, his father refused to look at him and hardly spoke.
"Dad, are you ok?" Mark asked. the King looks up and mumbles he's fine and hurries out of the dining room leaving mark confused.
