Bay and Din walked into the party together, as they always did. The music was loud and the dance floor was full of people moving to the beat. Bay was excited to have a great time with his best friend, but there was a part of him that was nervous, knowing that Pur would probably be there too.

They were getting drinks at the bar, laughing and talking about their week, when Bay spotted Pur across the room. His heart gave an involuntary leap at the sight of him, but he quickly looked away, trying to ignore the tightness in his chest. Pur was surrounded by a few girls, laughing and looking like they were having a good time.

Bay felt a lump in his throat, but he reminded himself that he had no right to feel this way. They weren’t a couple anymore. “Let’s dance,” Din suggested, pulling Bay onto the dance floor. Bay nodded, forcing himself to forget about Pur and focus on the fun of the night. They started dancing, and soon Bay was laughing and losing himself in the music, trying to free himself from the thoughts that were plaguing him.

But even in the middle of the dance floor, he couldn't help but sneak glances at Pur, who was now kissing one of the girls he was with. Bay's stomach churned, but he stood his ground. It was none of his business anymore.

Din noticed Bay's uneasiness and, trying to distract him, started to play with him, making jokes and pulling him closer, dancing in a more relaxed and fun way. Bay, grateful for his friend's support, decided that maybe it was time to move on too. When a boy approached him and started flirting, Bay didn't hesitate. He let himself get carried away by the moment, and soon he was kissing the boy on the dance floor.

Pur, who had moved away from the girl to get a drink, saw the scene from afar. He froze, feeling his blood boil when he saw Bay in the arms of another. It was a mix of jealousy and anger that he couldn't explain, but he knew he couldn't ignore. Even though he knew he had no right to feel this way, seeing Bay with someone else angered him deeply.

Without thinking twice, Pur walked through the crowd towards Bay. When he arrived, he pulled Bay by the arm, pulling him away from the boy he was with. Bay looked at Pur in surprise, confused by his attitude.

"What are you doing?" Bay asked, trying to remain calm.

"I'm the one asking you!" Pur replied, his voice thick with frustration. "Do you think you can just throw yourself at anyone like that?"

Bay frowned, letting go of Pur's arm. "We're not together anymore, Pur. I can do whatever I want."

Pur was silent for a moment, staring at Bay with an intense gaze. He knew Bay was right, but that didn't lessen the anger and pain he felt at seeing him with someone else. "I know that, but... it's hard to see you with someone else," he admitted, his voice lower and thick with the emotions he usually hid.

Bay sighed, feeling Pur's anger and sadness hit him unexpectedly.  "It's hard for me too, but I can't live like this anymore, stuck in the past. You have to move on, and so do I."

Pur stood there, staring at Bay, unsure of what to say. He wanted to fight it, wanted to tell her that there was still something between them, but the words wouldn't come. Deep down, he knew that Bay was trying to move on, and maybe it was time for him to do the same.

Without another word, Pur took a step back, letting go of Bay's arm completely. "Enjoy the party," he murmured, before walking away, melting into the crowd again.

Bay watched Pur disappear into the crowd, feeling a mixture of relief and sadness. He knew this conversation needed to happen, but it didn't make things any easier. With a final sigh, he walked back to the dance floor, determined to enjoy the night, even if his heart was still torn.
