Mending Wounds | LingOrm FF

Part 22

Since Lingling was out of Orm's life, she wanted to focus on the matter at hand, which was who sabotaged her accident on the highway. She figured it was Theappitak Law Firm, but she didn't have a proof. Then Denkhun cheated on her, and she fell into the arms of Lingling her wounds lessened. Lingling made her feel better, and it wasn't just the sex. Though she made her feel things that no other man had before.

'Well, that's done and over with. No more Lingling. I won't be needing the doctor's services anymore.' She then started crying again. Since their breakup, she couldn't stop crying at night or anytime she thought of her.

'Just forget about her. Cause she sure doesn't want you anymore. Oh, who am I kidding? I love her so much.'

Gina walked in and noticed her best friend's eyes were red from crying. She wondered what could be bringing her down.

"Orm, are you okay? What happened?"

"Oh, Gina, it's everything. P' Ling and I broke up."

"What? Why? How could this happen?" Orm explained the whole situation to her best friend.

"I still don't believe Lingling would do that to you. She's too much of a gentlewoman to do such a thing."

"I thought so too, Gina. Though the sad part in all this is that I'm in love with her."

Lingling decided that she'd try to call Orm once more. If she found her answering, she was going to leave her final message to her. She dialed up her number and laid back in her bed.

"Hi! I'm not home right now. Then again, I might be, and I'm screening my calls, but I doubt it. Leave a message after the beep, and I'll get back to you soon."

'Great, I had to hear the machine.' BEEP!

"Hey Orm, I miss you, sweetie. Every time I've tried calling you, you either weren't home, or you just didn't want to speak to me. I don't blame you. I just wanted to tell you that nothing happened that night. I'll always love you and only you." she then hung up. 

Orm heard the whole message and started crying all over again.

"I miss you too, my Lingling."

Today was the finalization of the divorce proceedings. Orm and Denkhun will go their separate ways and make their own lives. Lingling told Orm that she was going to be there to support her no matter what. She arrived early at the courthouse and sat waiting for Orm. 

Orm arrived with Gina and noticed Lingling sitting by herself. She wanted to tell her that she had heard her final message. The judge finalized everything, and Orm was finally a single woman again. Lingling walked over and congratulated her.

"Congratulations, Orm. I guess you have everything you want now," Lingling said with a small smile, but Orm just stared at her.

"Gina, I'll see you later," Lingling said, leaning down and kissing her cheek.

"Yeah, I will."

Lingling walked off, and Orm just stood there watching her. She turned and looked at her best friend. They both walked out she courtroom.

"What did P' Ling mean by that?"

"I didn't want to tell you while you and Lingling weren't together."

"Okay, now I feel bad. Tell me already!"

"I'm pregnant, Orm."

Orm hugged her friend. "Congratulations, Gina. I'm so happy for you."
