Roohi's pov
He stopped in front of our house. He was looking at our house. My cats came running after seeing me. Chachi was happy. She instantly picked them up and started patting them. I was watching his expression. He never liked cats. So his expression is awful after seeing my cats.
One of my kittens ran towards him and he just moved back.
"Hushhhhh...shooo..get lost"
He scared my kitten and she immediately came towards me. I picked her up and patted her head to make her calm.
Chachi has already entered our house.
"You got a beautiful house Roohi"
She praised our house.
"Thank you Chachi"
I walked in. He is still standing outside. Let him stand there. I'm not going to invite him inside. Already I have seen his expression.
But to my surprise he entered. And I saw him covering his nose with a big handkerchief.
I felt insulted.
"Where is the washroom beta?"
Chachi asked me. I showed her the washroom. She walked away.
I came back to our living room. He is still standing by covering his nose and looking everywhere.
"How on earth can a human live in such a dirty place?"
I looked at him being dumbfounded. What a rude man!
"It's smelling like shit! I'm sure it's the smell of your cats pee..what an unhygienic place, disgusting! I will prefer to die rather than spending an hour here...You are stinking too"
I looked at him blankly.
"I didn't invite you here"
I said.
He looked at me coldly.
"But you brought my mom here..."
"She is not a kid"
"But you are a cunning woman"
"And you are a mannerless man"
He clenched his jaw and was about to take steps near me but Chachi came out of the washroom.
"Your home is so beautiful Roohi... isn't it Advay?"
He didn't reply. He just kept on burning me with his sharp gaze. I ignored it completely.
"Chachi, I'm going to make the lunch"
"Okay beta...but I'm feeling so tired"
"Let me show you your room"
I walked her inside my bedroom. She lay on the bed. I gave her medicine. She took it. She is looking so peaceful.
"Roohi, I'm loving your home..It's so calm and peaceful..."
I smiled.
"Listen beta, i don't want to go with Advay...I know he came here to take me with him but i really don't want to go back in Mumbai... please beta do something..I want to stay with you and Jay..I mean Jaivanth"
I don't know why but I felt so pity for her. Why she is pleading to me? I can't watch her like this. She is a strong woman. I can't see anyone helpless. Right now she is looking so vulnerable.
"Chachi, try to sleep...hmm?"
"Okay beta"
She lay down and closed her eyes. I came out of the room and I stopped immediately after seeing him.
