As I observe humans doing mundane tasks through the small portal I created with my powers I feel a sudden disturbance in the air. My dimension is usually a very quiet one as it was solely created for my existence. I keep track of all the different galaxies and constellations and watch humans in my vast amount of free time.

My dimension is a comforting, almost glowing realm, filled with many stars. I've never really minded the solitary of it all, especially when Bill used to constantly come around. I let out a sigh as I went to see what caused the disturbance even though I already have a good idea.

"Bill I told you multiple times you are no longer welcomed in my-" I stop short as my eyes glance over a human. He's sitting in a chair, across from Bill, with a chess table and a teacup floating around him. Lots of books and papers float around them, making me more intrigued.

"Who... Are you?" The man questioned out loud, looking confused but intrigued as Bill let out a mocking laugh. "You could say she's an old pal of mine, sixer." I frown slightly at his choice of words, crossing my arms. "That's not the word I'd use but if you want to be delusional and think we're friends then I won't get in your way."

My eyes go back to the mystery human after I give Bill a sharp glare. "Why did you bring a human to my dimension?" While the question was directed at Bill I was too intrigued by the man to look at Bill as I spoke.

"This one right here is the brilliant mind I chose to inspire. Stanford Pines. Isn't he just an interesting find?" Bill says with a smug tone. My lips form into a fine line knowing his true intentions. "How did you find out about Bill?" I ask Ford with a sympathetic expression.

Ford looked confused at the expression, not understanding why it was there yet. He looked weary and confused between the two of us, but he answered the question "I found some mysterious writing in a cave earlier today. Ancient incantations about a being with answers."

"After I read the inscription out loud nothing happened. I went to bed and now I'm here." I hum out as he finishes speaking. "I think you forgot to mention the warnings that said not to summon him." I add, gesturing towards Bill.

Ford hesitated for a moment, taking a careful look at both of us. "Those... Those were there, too. I just... Didn't pay much heed to them." He admitted truthfully.

"That much is clear." I reply as I summon another chair for the chess table, taking a seat. "So what were you two discussing before I got here hmm?" Bill glanced over at me with a shrug before looking back to Ford, a glint in his eye. "Oh nothing, just chatting." Bill lied with a casual tone. Ford was quietly watching both of us, taking a mental note of every little thing and interaction.

I flick one of the chess pieces slightly as I focus hard on one of the board's squares. "You know I don't like being lied to, Bill." I glance back at him. "This is my dimension. It will be very easy for me to go back in time and see what you two were actually talking about."

Bill rolled his eye, scoffing. "Oh please. We were just chit-chatting. HE was considering making a little deal with me, that's all." He said, crossing his arms while looking annoyed. Ford's eyes went to Bill, then back to me, listening intently and taking mental notes of the interaction.

My eyes narrow further. "A deal huh?" Bill chuckled, nodding quickly. "Of course. I offered to help him reach full potential. A deal to make us research partners." Bill explained with a shrug. He then reaches his hand out towards Ford. "So, what do you say Fordsy? Ready to be partners?"

Ford hesitated for a long moment, taking a look at you, then the hand, then Bill. He was clearly having doubts, but curiosity got the better of him. "I wouldn't-" I get cut off as Bill makes my seat disappear, catching me off guard.

Just as Ford's eyes look over to me his hand clasps around Bill's. "Partners then." He says, still looking at me. Bill grinned as he sealed the deal, sparks flying where their hands met. Ford didn't know it, but a deal had been made. Bill had a new pawn. He chuckled at the look of shock and confusion that covered Ford and my face.

"Well then." Bill exclaimed happily. "Now that we settled that we'll get out of your hair." I can tell Ford can sense the tension between the two of us cause he looks more confused over that than with the deal he just made. Bill gives me a wave, continuing to chuckle before opening up a portal. He uhusers Ford though it before stepping through it himself. As soon as the portal closes I feel myself deflate at the thought that I could have done more to stop that. Whatever Bill is planning won't be good.
