Chapter 7 **WARNING**

When I arrived at Enzo's office, I walked in expecting to be alone. To my surprise, the whole team was there and they grinned when I walked in. Little puppies, I thought to myself as I stood next to my favorite puppy, Sebastian. He looked up at me from his chair, a large smile on his face.

"Winter," Enzo said, standing from his desk. "Nice of you to join us." He looked around at everyone. "As you probably already guessed, I've requested you here in regards to a small mission. It's mostly for Winter, but I need you boys to go with her to make sure she is safe."

I scoffed and spoke up in defense of my skills. "I can handle myself fine, thank you Colonel."

Enzo shook his head. "Please, Winter. This time is different. I'm asking for your services and I need to make sure you are safe from the League when you complete this mission."

"My services?" I frowned. "You want me to kill someone, Enzo?"

Enzo grimaced but nodded. "That's correct." Kai handed me the file they were all looking at. I flipped it open. "His name is Laszlo Daniels. He's a Hungarian politician, mostly known for his involvement in sex trafficking."

I looked down at the file in disgust. Laszlo looked like a grimey old man, reminding me of the man I once killed who tortured women. I shut the file with a snap. "Enough said. Does he need to die a certain way or is any way satisfactory?"

I could hear the others chuckle a little and Enzo shook his head. "Doesn't matter, just make sure the job gets done. I have full faith in your skills, Winter, but I am pleading for you to be careful. I suspect the League might be behind this man."

I nodded. "That's that. Let's head out then." I tucked the file under my arm and walked out of his office to my room.

I was on the back of a motorcycle, my hands around Roman's midsection. I insisted on taking a motorcycle of my own, but Roman refused. So, instead, I was holding onto the drama queen for dear life while we flew down the road to the Hungarian border.

Roman called his mother to let her know we were coming. His father was off on a fishing trip, so the house would be empty. He said she was thrilled her "little boys" were coming home, and looked forward to meeting me.

The trees blew past us in a blur as Roman revved the motorcycle, speeding up. I had a helmet on, and we had comms set up. Kai was on another motorcycle and the rest were in a truck. I did not want to be stuck in a truck with a doting Sebastian, a talkative Roland, and a guilty Noah.

So I took my chances with Roman.

It was only a few hours of driving, when we finally pulled up to a very nice home in Hungary. It wasn't as large as my family estate, but it was sizable. We pulled into a dirt driveway and an older woman who looked similar to Roman came running out, her hand over her heart.

Roman turned off his motorcycle and allowed me to get off, before getting off himself and shaking his head out of his helmet. I watched as he ran up to the short woman, tackling her in a large bear hug.

The others shut off their vehicles and came running up to her, hugging her as well. I removed my helmet and fixed my hair in the tiny mirror on the bike.

She looked at me, her smile widening. She walked up to me and cupped my face in her hands. "Little szeretett. You are more beautiful than they told me." Her accent was thick.

I smiled at her and held her hands. "No, you are more beautiful. Thank you for allowing me to stay in your home, Misses Nikolic."

She continued to smile and took my hand in hers. "Please come in, be comfortable. Relax after your long ride. I wish to know more about you, szeretett."
