"Lewis smiled and took her hand, squeezing it gently. "I'm glad you like him," he replied. "He's a big part of my life, and I'm happy that you're getting along so well with him.

"As the sun began to set on the horizon, Lewis suggested that they head back to his house for dinner. Phoenix agreed, and they walked back through the park, hand in hand, with Roscoe trotting happily alongside them. As they reached the car, Phoenix turned to Lewis and said, "I love you, Lewis Hamilton. And I love Roscoe too.

"Lewis pulled her into a warm embrace, his heart full of love and gratitude. "I love you too, Phoenix Winter," he whispered. "And I'm so grateful to have you in my life.

"And as they drove back to Lewis's house, with Roscoe snuggled up in the back seat, Phoenix and Lewis knew that they were meant to be together, both human and canine love intertwining in a beautiful tapestry of joy and happiness.
