The walk back to the resort felt like a blur, the only thing on Charles mind being the stranger he bumped into. Her soft eyes and pink stained lips etched into his brain.

Although they only interacted for three minutes at best, their interaction kept replaying in his head like a broken record. He wanted to see her again. He wanted to hear her voice again. The sultry, velvety tone of her voice that just made him want to give up everything for her.

He could admit it, Charles had a crush on her. A typical teenage crush.

Rushing back to his room, Charles threw himself on his bed and stared at the ceiling. I want to see her again.

I need to see her again.

That was when he decided to go back but that would wait until the next day.

The door to his room opened revealing his friend. "Mate, we're going out to eat. You coming or what?"

"I'll be there, just give me a few seconds." Charles moved to sit up on the bed.

...

Monday rolled around which meant Vivienne would go back work. She had a few classes to teach so she didn't have to go to the lab.

Dressed in a pink long knitted dress that covered her legs and arms and 5-inch heeled boots, she got to the school and head to the staff room. Her hair was straightened and tied back in a ponytail.

After the staff meeting, Vivienne made her way to her classroom where she found her class of seniors waiting for her.

"Good morning." She greeted walking to her desk.

"Good morning Ms Khatib." A chorus of voices greeted back.

"How was your guys' weekend? Any of you go skiing?" She asked getting out her whiteboard markers out of her desk drawer.

"Yeah, I even broke my arm." One of her male students lifted up his arm with the cast.

"I helped my dad set up the Christmas decorations in the town square." A girl spoke up.

"Oo, you guys did a wonderful job!" Vivienne beamed remembering the lights and ornaments draped all over the trees. "And Marc, how did you even break your arm?" She asked.

"I collided with my sister and rolled down the mountain." Marc answered.

More students told Vivienne about their weekends before she started teaching. She walked to the whiteboard and wrote a heading, "Vectors and Scalars."

"Who can tell me what a vector is? You guys did this last year." She asked.

Several hands went up into the air. "Nicole?"

"A vector is a physical quantity that has both magnitude and direction." The blonde girl answered.

"Good, and a scalar?"

"It just has magnitude." Nicole said.

"Wonderful. So with that, there are five vectors that we are going to focus on," Vivienne turned to write on the board. "Force, Acceleration, Velocity, Displacement and Weight."

"We are starting with Force today. It's personally not my favourite topic but we'll push through." She said.

The rest of the school day went by quickly and Vivienne  found herself walking back home. Deciding to get a cup of coffee, she stopped by the coffee shop which was surprisingly empty.

"Mon amour!" Elias smiled from the other side of the counter.

"Hi Elias. How are you?" She asked walking further into the building.
