"People think we're cute, we might as well just date." Charles said to his phone smiling at Vivienne's reaction which had shifted into a grimace.
"Charlie, that's not how it's going to go down." She shook her head as she placed her phone against the screen of her iMac. Charles had FaceTimed her while she was busy drafting an email and he packed his suitcase.
"Then how will it?" He asked revealing the dimples Vivienne had quickly grown to love.
"You're going to get me my usual at the cafe, maybe add in a pastry just to be safe, then you're going to take me to the park. Next to the pond where we'll watch the cute ducks and then you'll ask me,"
"A very simple thing, might I add." Vivienne smiled innocently earning a laugh from Charles.
"Wait, let me get my pen and notebook. I should write this down." He said looking around the room as if looking for a notebook.
Vivienne nodded, "You should. You see? Very simple."
"No but seriously, why don't you post yourself?" Charles asked.
It was because she was afraid of Noah finding her and hurting her again. Vivienne knew that if she made one mistake, like telling her family where she moved or accidentally posting her location, Noah would find her.
She had worked so hard to leave that relationship and she couldn't risk going back. And now, she was contemplating telling Charles the truth.
"I'm hiding from something. No, someone. Like a very intense game of hide and seek." Vivienne answered.
