The weeks following Nowa’s proposal were a whirlwind of activity for both him and Cessy. The campus was abuzz with the news of their engagement, and their friends and family offered heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes. Amidst the excitement, Nowa and Cessy embarked on the journey of planning their wedding, each step bringing them closer to their dream day.

One Saturday morning, Cessy and Nowa sat at a quaint café, their laptop open in front of them, surrounded by a mountain of wedding magazines and notes. The sun poured in through the large windows, casting a warm glow over their planning session.

“So, where do we start?” Nowa asked, flipping through a magazine that showcased various wedding themes and styles.

Cessy grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “I think we should begin with the venue. It’s the foundation of everything else. Do you have any ideas?”

Nowa nodded thoughtfully. “I’ve been thinking about something intimate, maybe outdoors. The lake where we got engaged would be beautiful, but we’d need to consider logistics for guests.”

Cessy’s eyes lit up. “That sounds perfect! An outdoor ceremony by the lake would be so romantic. We could have a reception in a nearby tent or garden. What about decorations?”

Nowa leaned back, considering the options. “We could go with a nature-inspired theme—lots of greenery, flowers, and maybe fairy lights. It would complement the outdoor setting beautifully.”

Cessy scribbled down notes, her enthusiasm evident. “I love that idea. Let’s look into florists and decorators who specialize in outdoor events. And for the dress, I’ve found a few designers whose work I adore. We should set up some appointments to try on a few styles.”

They spent the next few hours discussing details, from the color scheme to the guest list. Each decision brought them closer to their vision of the perfect wedding, and the excitement of planning together only deepened their bond.

As the days turned into weeks, they continued their preparations with renewed energy. They visited several venues, each one offering a unique charm, but the lake by their campus remained their top choice. They met with florists, caterers, and photographers, carefully selecting those who aligned with their vision. Cessy found the perfect wedding dress, a stunning gown that accentuated her elegance and grace.

Nowa, too, was involved in every aspect of the planning, from choosing his tuxedo to selecting the music for the ceremony. They worked together to ensure that every detail was just right, reflecting their personalities and their love for each other.

One evening, as they sat together in their favorite café, Cessy looked at Nowa with a contented smile. “I can’t believe how quickly this is all coming together. It’s been a lot of work, but it’s so worth it.”

Nowa took her hand in his, his eyes full of affection. “I wouldn’t have it any other way. Planning this with you has made me even more excited for our wedding day. I can’t wait to start this new chapter with you.”

Their friends and family were supportive throughout the process, offering advice and helping with preparations. Cessy’s best friend Lily, who had been a source of support and joy throughout the engagement, helped with organizing bridal showers and other celebrations.

The final weeks before the wedding were a blur of final touches and rehearsals. As the big day approached, Cessy and Nowa found themselves reflecting on their journey. They marveled at how their love had grown and deepened, and they were eager to celebrate their commitment in front of their loved ones.

On the eve of the wedding, Cessy and Nowa shared a quiet moment together, away from the bustle of preparations. They took a walk by the lake, the place where their engagement had begun. The setting sun painted the sky in shades of pink and orange, creating a serene and beautiful backdrop.

“Tomorrow is going to be perfect,” Cessy said softly, leaning into Nowa. “I’m so grateful for everything we’ve built together.”

Nowa kissed her forehead, his heart full of love. “Me too. I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you. Here’s to our future.”

As they walked hand in hand, the sense of anticipation and joy was palpable. Their wedding day was just around the corner, and with it, a lifetime of shared dreams and love. The journey they had embarked on together was far from over, but it had already been filled with moments of deep connection and happiness. The best was yet to come.
