Of course Klaus somehow managed to get the dance moved to his own home, why wouldn't he.

Those were the thoughts running through Ana's brain as she stepped out on to the pavement outside the new destination.

The Homecoming dance was in full swing as Anastasia stepped through the grand entrance of the house. The room was transformed into a magical scene, with twinkling lights strung across the ceiling and elegant drapes in deep hues of gold and maroon lining the walls. The floor was alive with students, dressed to impress, moving to the rhythm of the music that pulsed through the room. Laughter and excited chatter filled the air, mixing with the melodies that set the mood for the night.

Anastasia paused for a moment just inside the doorway, taking it all in. The atmosphere was electric, a world away from the quiet tension she had felt while getting ready. Here, everything seemed carefree, as though the worries of the outside world were left at the door. But even in this setting, she couldn't fully let go of the caution that had become second nature to her.

She adjusted the drape of her dress, making sure the gun was still securely hidden beneath the fabric, and moved deeper into the crowd. The dress's emerald green colour stood out among the sea of gowns, catching the light with every step she took. Heads turned as she walked by, some with admiration, others with curiosity, but Anastasia kept her focus ahead, scanning the room with a practiced eye.

She was going to kill Rebekah, Ana had been looking for the girl for the past twenty minutes and couldn't find her so now she stood alone at the bar nursing her 4th glass of red wine.

"Now this is a sad sight to see." A familiar voice spoke.

Turning to face to source Ana smiled.

"Very funny Klaus now where is your sister?"

The hybrid's face faltered.

"I thought you would know."

"Klaus." She spoke in a warning tone.

A Hybrid walked up to the two.

Ana zoned out as she saw a pair of eyes watching her. A dark haired man surveyed her from across the room. She made sure not to make it to obvious that she caught him looking.

"He says he's your father."

That brought her back.

Klaus's smiled widened. "move everyone out back."
