when I woke up he was still sleeping. it was early, 4 am. I figured he usually wakes up at 5 am so he was still sleeping.
he was so angelic, while sleeping he looked like the old Scaramouche. the one with the white vest laying on the lab bed...
I caressed his hair and he leaned in humming. I never touched him like that. can a puppet feel the heart it doesn't have explode..?
I snuggled closer, I had one hour. just one. I hugged him and buried my head in his chest. his body was cold, but it wasn't unpleasant...
suddenly he opened his eyes and stared down at me. "what are you doing?!" he glared but didn't pull away at all. he didn't even have the time to do that since I was the one who pulled away immediately getting up.
"I-I'll go out!" my face turned red and I quickly changed into my usual attire and went to Sumeru city to buy some books.
but who the hell goes out to buy books at 4:30am? As I got there ofcourse shops were all closed and there was barely anyone around.
"why did we wake up so early?!" I heard a voice. it was so high-pitched it didn't sound real "well, Tighnari said 'meet me tomorrow' and technically tomorrow means past midnight" a male voice explained.
I turned around and saw the famous blonde traveler and the talkative flying thing. I was cooked..
"hey! isn't that...-!" the fairy pointed at me and they both started following me till at some point I gave up. "what?!" I glared. "you are a fatui aren't you? we saw you talking with La Signora in Inazuma!" Paimon yelled.
I hate people who yell.. "La Signora? I don't know who that is" I shrugged "you wouldn't have run off" the Traveler crossed his arms "people who point at me and yell give me anxiety!" I made a fake snap trying to explain my behaviour.
Paimon stared at me blankly and so did the Traveler. I walked past them but the traveler stopped me again "wait!" he spoke "I still don't trust you"
"I don't trust you either but I don't stop you in the middle of the street and demand answers" I said as he stared blankly again
"she really got a bad temper.." Paimon spoke quietly "you just don't look as incredible as you claim to be, I'm not scared" I shrugged
"now if you'll excuse me I'll go!" I snapped walking past the traveler another time.
"wow.. usually girls like her melt when they see you... remember Ayaka?" Paimon spoke. as the traveler blushed. what the hell?
"stay put! we'll have general Mahamatra Cyno interrogating you!" the traveler said grabbing my wrist firmly.
and what do I do now you wonder? simple, I split my chemicals on them and run away!
I started running back to the hideout and it was 5:30.
Scaramouche wasn't there anymore, I figured he went to see the Sages so that's where I went too, this time with a cloak.
"morning" I greeted the others who were working on the robot and asked where the Balladeer was, they said he got mad and left.
