Chapter 15-News To Tell

Amy stared at her ring as Sonic had his arm wrapped around her.He held her closely,smiling like she was.

"When are we going to tell the others?"she asked.

Sonic beamed,"Right now?"

Amy squealed as she led him outside.The two looked at their huts,smiling widely.Tails and Sticks emerged from his worship and waved at Sonic and Amy.

"What's up guys?"the fox asked.

The blue hedgie grinned,"I have news,but I need the others to come too."

Tails nodded and ran to Knuckles' hut to get him.It took a few minutes but soon Knuckles and Rouge came out.Knuckles looked well rested and Rouge looked better.Amy smiled at the two as they joined the others.She looked at Sonic and he nodded at her.

"We have some exciting news,"Amy said elated.

Rouge smiled weakly while Knuckles clapped his hands.

"I love news,"he grinned.

Sonic rolled his eyes and held Amy tightly.

"Go on!"Sticks whined.

Amy giggled,"Sonic and I are..."

"Getting married,"Sonic finished.

Rouge's smile brightened as she came over to give Amy a hug.Sticks followed behind and also gave her a hug.Tails and Knuckles clapped and congratulated Sonic.Amy flashed her ring while Rouge cooed.Sticks was jumping around,telling everyone around her that she knew it was bound to happen.Tails was grinning,congratulating them both.

"That's great,"Rouge said.

"Wow when do I become an aunt?"Sticks chirped.

Amy blushed,"We haven't even had the wedding."

"Pinkie I got to be the wedding planner,"Rouge gushed slightly.

"Sure,wouldn't want anyone else to take the job,"she giggled.

Sonic patted Tail's back,"You're gonna be my best man."

"Sweet!"Tails chuckled.

Knuckles crossed his arms,"And me?"

"A...groomsman,"Sonic finally decided.

Knuckles just shrugged and grinned.

"I would love to be your maid of honor Amy but..."Rouge trailed off,touching her stomach.

Amy waved her off,"It's fine."

She then turned to the hyper Sticks who was now settling down.

"Sticks,I want you to be my maid of honor,"Amy said.

"Woohoo!...What's a maid of honor?"she asked baffled.

Tails chuckled,"I'll explain it to you later."

Amy laughed and glanced at Rouge.She cleared her throat to get everyone's attention.

"Guys,Rouge also has some news to share,"She said slowly.

Rouge looked at Amy with slight confusion.She glanced at her stomach before her eyes lit up with remembrance.At first Rouge looked worried before Amy gave her a determined smile.The bat breathed in deeply,nodding once she felt more determined.Rouge stood next to Amy as everyone's attention was on the two.

"Uh ya I guess I do,"she chuckled weakly.

Amy beamed,"So?"

"Well I am uh pregnant,"Rouge said,holding her breath.

Everyone clapped however Knuckles was yet again confused.He scratched his head,a frown forming on his face.

"Rouge,who did this to you?I'll smash their face in!"Knuckles growled.

With a facepalm they all groaned while Rouge looked at him with slight pity.

"Sweetie,you did this to me,"she said bluntly.

Knuckles thought deeply before his eyes lit up,"I'm gonna be a daddy!"

Sonic rolled his eyes,"Congrats."

Sticks squealed,"I will teach it to scavenge and hunt!"

Rouge cringed,"That is not happening."

"Save it for your own child,"Tails laughed.

Sticks pouted but smiled anyway.Knuckles looked happy before the smile washed away.He grabbed the sides of his head and backed up.

"Oh man,I'm gonna be a...a father!"he cried.

And before anyone could tell him anything,he fell.Passed out.The gang began laugh as Sticks jumped around Knuckles.Amy patted Rouge on the shoulder before Sonic took Amy by the waist and kissed her cheek.Tails laughed as he watched Sticks mess with Knuckle's face.Everything was going great...

Dr.Eggman was watching the gang from a far,spying.Orbot and Cubot were accompanying him,watching as well.

"My my looks like they're getting hitched and there's a baby on the way,"laughed Eggman,"So many things to ruin."

"Doctor,what about the previous plan?"asked Orbot.

Eggman laughed harder,"We can easily combine the plans."Dr.Eggman narrowed his eyes,chuckling darkly now.

"Such news to tell to the ultimate life form and our improved robot..."
