'Good morning dad' I softly spoke as I opened my dad's bedroom door.

I walked in lightly to not make any sort of vibration on the wooden floor. Dad's been a bit more sensitive to any movement and any physical touch lately so I didn't want to add more stress to his plate.

As I walked in, I can see his face tense and I can already feel like I'm going to get scolded. Shit he must know about last night. I mentally face palmed myself as I couldn't believe i was that stupid. Ugh never again.

'Good morning y/n.' Dad replied. He gave me a weak smile and reached for my hand.

I hesitated at his gesture but gave in. I then plopped myself next to him.

'Now. I have a new mission for you.' Dad began describing the mission that will be at the entertainment district and I would have to follow one of the hashiras and tail the 3 boys that are with him.

'Is this the same 3 boys that were with the flame hashira?' I asked curiously.

'Yes. These boys come from a line of greatness and terror. Not only that, Tanjiro is taking his sister with him. She's a demon, however she does not feed on humans and has always helped the demon slayer corp despite the hatred. I believe that they all will be able to help us overcome muzan one day.' He finished explaining to me.

'Okay.' I finally said, accepting the mission whole heartedly.

I stood up and began to leave the room before dad spoke once more.

'Y/n?' He asked.

'Yes?' I turned my head to him confused at what else there is to say.

'Now be careful. You've already met this Hashira. He is a bit...how'd you say...flashy?' I froze up and realised what he meant by that. Fuck he knew, HOW!?! the crow, it must've been that damn crow.

'Uh yeah, I'll be careful.' I quickly left the room and straight into my own bedroom.

My heart was already racing at the idea of having to tail a hashira but the SOUND HASHIRA ?!?! Out of all people it had to be him?  This is gonna be a pain but hey that means Atleast this job won't be as easy and as boring.

'Fine. If I'm going to this job, I'm going to it perfectly.' I reassured myself. He is not going to see me and I'm not going to let him.

'You be careful now. I know you're a strong girl y/n but as your mother I'll always have to be nervous every time you leave.' Mum started to tear up as she got all my bags of food ready. She patted my head and then pulled me in for a big hug.

'Mommmmm...stapppp' I said to her despite secretly loving the affection. I tucked myself into her hug even more embracing every warm touch.

'Right. Like I always say, stay safe and-' I cute her off.

'Don't be seen. Yes mom I know' I smiled at her and gave a her a reassuring squeeze.

I tucked everything onto my back and turned to my family who were  watching me leave again at the front door. 'I'll be back before you know it.' I gave them a wink and began my journey.

This should take only 2-3 days? If I sprint maybe just 2.

'Let's just get this over with.' I said to myself.

I looked over the mission note.

'Y/n, the sound hashira and the 3 boys will be finding out what demon is lurking through the district. It is rumored to be a ranked demon. Keep an eye and make sure that any discards and fights are cleaned up before any civilian sees. Keep on your toes. Don't let the sound pillar find you first.'

Hmm, a ranked demon? It's been a while since I've come across one. Hopefully this one's not to high of a rank.

The district was beautiful. The lights at night illuminated across the lands and made sure that no bit was left dark. The colours of orange and yellow distributed itself across and the music was everywhere.

'So beautiful.' I whispered to myself. I loved the night but I couldn't help but love this more. It felt like everyone here had their life surrounded by the night. Despite knowing the dangers they still challenged that by enjoying themselves and making sure that they make the atmosphere exciting.

All the oirans were out n about and the streets were jam packed with tourists and locals trying to sell their products.

I was currently situated high up on a tree overlooking the whole scenario. I have to find the boys first. That was my mission. I need to make sure to keep an eye of them for their safety.

I hopped from tree to tree in the surrounding area to find them but for some reason it seems as though they managed to tuck themselves quite neatly.

'Maybe I have to get closer.' I thought about getting a bit closer by traveling on the rooftops.

I decided to get closer and jumped off the trees as I needed to sprint to the district to actually get on top of the buildings.

Once I found myself on the outskirts and I accessed the district through a small tight alleyway where I propped myself onto each side of the wall to get onto the roof of the buildings.

I ducked lowly to keep my head out of sight and my presence hidden. I continued to look through the crown before I got distracted by an oddly disturbing sound.

'You guys are beyond hopeless!' A familiar sound shouted.

'I can barely give you away!' He continued. What on earth are they talking about ?

I whipped my head to the direction of the noise and there I saw them. Well more so him. He was not in his usual attire but rather he was wearing a dark pink/red montsuki (male version of the kimono basically). His makeup was gone and his face was fresh.

'Tengen?' I said to myself curiously.

I continued to follow them as they were discussing their plan to have the boys dressed as girls and get them in the houses to investigate from the inside out.

I chuckled at the 3 young boys appearance and can't help but face palm at their plan. Hey whatever works, works I guess. Tengen must be trying to hold his laugh as these boys look ridiculous. I lowkey chuckled to myself at the thought.

I tailed them until all of the boys were able to be sold off. Wow I'm impressed Tengan managed to use his good looks to sway the owners.

Goood looks?!? Take a step back y/n...do not get distracted now.

'Hmm finally.' Tengan sighed to himself and I can see the relief.

He walked off from the finally shop and made his way to a secluded hotel. I continued to hid from afar as I know he's already met me so if he sees me again it's much easier to spot me and that is not something I want to deal with.

'Okay, seems as though this is gonna be a long night.' I said to myself. I saw Tengen made his way to his room and while he was getting changed to his usual uniform I made it a thing to go find a tree to easily perch myself on to spy (sounds weird lol). Well not spy more so oversee as I'm technically the back up crew in case shit hits the fan.

I managed to find a comfortable spot that overlooked all 4 houses the boys stayed at and since the night light did not seem like it was going to dim anytime soon I knew that I had to extra cautious as you never know how many more demons lurked in this town.
