Adam woke up to Kathryn sleeping peacefully. He got up and almost stepped on Lance who was spread out across the sofa wearing some checkered pajama pants and a shirt saying "Rise and Grind" Adam snickered slightly. He walked over to a nearby box filled with various containers with rain water. He picked one up pouring it into a cup. He walked over to the fireplace hanging the water over the fire. He headed towards the bathroom changing into some heavy cargo pants and a plain white t-shirt. He picked up the hot water walking toward the door picking up a large hoodie and goggles. He crawled out and walked out the dark alleyway. He walked down a walkway with various little buildings around. The area is stained with a blue tinted light. He looked up at the sky covered with metal panels. He took a sip of his water and walked towards an edge below a junkyard with colored clouds covering the view. He put on his hood and goggles before jumping down. He started looking around for any valuables avoiding the rain from the colorful clouds. The slight glimmer of a battery came into his view as he dug through a pile of junk. He picked it up storing it in one of his cargo pant's various pockets. He heard a nearby machine roar to life. He peaked around the corner seeing a weird looking blade in the hands of a woman dressed in colorful attire. She was wearing a dress with so many different colors and shades he lost count and some heavy boots. Her face was covered with her jet black hair. Adam got a little closer trying to look at the blade. It was shining and made a weird noise, for some reason the blade didn't have a guard and the handle was littered with different buttons. Suddenly the women noticed him. "Can I help you?" She said in a sweet tone. Adam tried to speak but nothing came out rather just sitting there nervous. His thoughts were racing with all types of things trying to figure out what to say. "Thththth." He tried to speak but he stuttered and lost his voice. She walked over to him "Not good with words are you?" She said in an understanding tone. "Well that's fine." He looked up expecting a sweet smile, but it was odd. No matter how much he looked her face was a blur. Her face seemed to never fully come into a few always. It had the same look as something does when it's in your peripheral vision. He squinted his eyes trying to look when suddenly the roar of the blade came to life and he looked to his left to see the blade swinging toward him. He narrowly dodged it. He started running full sprint through the area. The roar of the blade seemed right behind him. He slides under a pile of junk cutting left. He jumped over some metal climbing a pile of junk. He looked over at something catching his eye. It was a beautiful house with flowers all around and a gorgeous grass lawn with healthy green grass. The house looked so beautiful and perfect he couldn't do anything but stare. Before he could think he heard the shifting and roaring of the blade nearby reminding him to run. He thought how it would be possible for a house to be here let alone a healthy grass lawn. He kept running ducking under a piece of junk the roar of the blade getting quieter. Then he looked to his left. His eyes widened in shock. It was the same house, but how is that possible he just ran past it. Suddenly his leg was cut and he was knocked out. He woke up inside a house looking out the window and he saw grass. It was that house. He looked up to see the women from early working on a stove cooking food. The smell was enchanting he was lost in the smell. The more and more he smelled it the more he forgot where he was and who he was. He thought to himself how much he wanted to eat the food. Adam quickly bit down on his lip snapping him back to his senses. Looking all around he analysed the situation. The lady seemed fully distracted cooking. Adam couldn't keep the scent from mesmerizing him. He tried to break free from the chair he was seated at but he was wrapped up in ropes. He smashed his nose into the table making it swell up with blood and block out the scent. He concluded that one for the rules of the monster lady was that she had to have her full attention on cooking and couldn't hear, but the food would fully mesmerize you with it's scent. "Just wait on second honey I'm almost done." The woman said in a sweet tone. He was running out of time before she was done being distracted. He managed to loosen the rope on his torso letting him slip out of the chair. He ran to the nearby door turning around and opening it with his bound hands. The room was so nice and well decorated. The plates on the wall that had beautiful designs the couch with not a single crumb or stain. The tune coming from the radio playing a lullaby. Adam came back to his senses and focused on the blade on the wall. It was the one from before he quickly rubbed his bound hands against it cutting the rope. He snatched the blade mounting it on his back and running out the house. He ran through the junkyard ending up right back at the house. It was just as he thought there was more rules. He tried to keep his eyes away from the house not to be mesmerized. Then he realized something. The blood leaking from his nose should be creating a path. He looked to see he that it wasn't that he was being teleported he was walking back to the house subconsciously. He heard a blood curdling scream coming from the house. His time was up. The women was much to strong to fight even without her blade. He tried to picture what was the answer. First weird thing is her face not being able to be focused on no matter how hard he tries, second the house making him lose train of though and distracted him with just a glance, third the scent of the food a effect similar to the house but much stronger, fourth when I walk away I subconsciously come back through some form of hypnosis. That's it! I was able to snap myself back through physical pain each time. I just need to time a injury with when I get hypnotized. He ran to the back of the house. Seeing a shack he ran in there was tools there including some nails. But something caught his eye it was various different seeds. He stuffed them in his pocket as well as the nails. He started running out hearing the lady scuffle around the house looking for presumably her blade. Adam ran holding the smalls nails. They pierced his hand. He winced in pain tears forming in his eyes. He suddenly started walking back but the pain brought him back keeping him from getting hypnotized. He managed to finally run out of the junkyard. He took one last look down seeing the house fade out of sight. Monsters like that usually are bound to there location and can't hunt you down. He started walking down the street the light now a fient purple.
