Yuri was freezing two guards to the wall, as Dustin rammed his fist into all the men he could see. He wasn't there anymore, he was filled with rage and confusion. Zay's body was still lying lifelessly, eyes filled with darkness. Manny in his Regen suit was throwing haymakers at two of the guards approaching, as he noticed that he saw 5 more B.B.R.O Agents arriving at the scene. "Yo, guys! We might be blocked in, there's more coming!" Ash slashed at the men, blocking bullets with her bone marrow, but was shocked by agents carrying taser sticks. Dustin then came to the rescue, crushing the agent's head and letting out a roar. They tried shocking him, but the sticks did nothing.
He swung his fists into two more officer's chests, ceasing their attacks. Now, the trucks outside were surrounding the house. They threw in smoke, making the pack of rebels cough up their lungs. Ash crawled upstairs, Regen following her. "We're- *cough* probably not gonna make it, are we?" Ash whispered, her voice disappearing. "Fuck yes, we are. I can't die, so I won't let you guys die either." Regen then grabbed one of Ash's swords and sheathed it on his back inside the holster. Before the very myth of the man became
"Yo, grab the documents. I think I made a plan to distract them." Regen said as he searched for something in Ash's drawer. She was confused but complied anyway. "You better have a good fucking plan!"
Meanwhile, Dustin and Yuri stood their ground as more men approached. Yuri quickly decided to throw up an ice wall blocking the front of the house, running upstairs. Dustin grabbed Zay's body and carried it with them, finding Ash and Regen geared up. Ash with her backpack opened the window and saw the men trying to climb the house to enter.
"Yep, we are definitely about to die today." Yuri scoffed, "All that confidence finally left you, huh little girl."
Ash growled slowly. Sending 5 bone spikes into the agents climbing the top of the house, as they screamed falling to their dooms. "Surprised the vanguard hasn't shown up yet!"
"Means we have a chance, so everyone quit whining," Regen said in his suit, sounding robotic. "And let's get the fuck out of here!" A bomb ticked off in the bedroom before blowing the room sky-high.
The group jumped from the window. Professor Z is arrested and carried off into a patrol car armored up to the max. "Get off of me, I want my lawyer! This isn't right!" Just then as the group fled into the woods, bits of frost appeared all around the front street of the house, confusion appearing on the masked agent's faces. Then, a bunch of ice rained from above, sharp as nails without a hammer needed to pin them into the Agent's skulls.
They cried out and croaked, some choking on their blood. Professor Z was hit in his shoulder and foot but he managed to dive into the patrol car just in time. "Jesus Christ, god please help me what is happening right now-" That's when he looked up. His orange glowing eyes turned purple and stared at him, belonging to a shadowy figure with long locs and a black fur coat.
"..I got your message." Keyan in his Hellfrost mantle gargled.
His voice was low, almost silent. The agents shot at him but he just sent a wall of ice up to block the bullets, then flicked his hand into the ice punching it, sending a chunk of the wall through the men. He then turned around and screamed as he threw his hands in the air, a barrage of sharp-ended ice pillars rising from the ground. He huffed, tired from the use of all his energy. The agents were down, some still alive but suffered immense loss of blood. As he turned around he sighed, grabbing the professor's hand and helping him out. The professor was shaking in fear but he gave his hand to the vigilante anyway. Without a second thought, Hellfrost pulled the spike from his shoulder making Professor Z scream in agonizing pain. "Damn it, kid! Be gentle alright? I'm still new to this." The professor jokes, but Hellfrost ignores it, walking into the house, and pulling down the wall of ice his mother left behind.
"They left. Most likely went through the back. I'll track them down." He turned around to the professor and hugged him, catching the professor off guard and in pain as the young man rested his hand on the professor's shoulder. "Thank you, for the heads up. I was speaking to Tonya." He said coldly, giving Professor Z an obvious clue. "..She finally told you huh? Jeez, I'm sorry kid. I don't like lying to you but- it was your old man's last wish for me to keep you away from this for as long as possible." Professor Z scoffed, pushing his hair out of his face.
"Honestly, I don't blame him."
