A long winter has passed and now the four grown up omegas are not seen sliding down the mountain towards the edge of the valley. Humphery, Shakey, Mooch and Salty laugh at the ride they just experienced until one omega noticed something in the distance.
"Hey look over there" said Shakey
"What's up" said Humphery
"Check out who it is" replied Salty as they noticed both Kate and Y/n silently sneaking behind a small group of caribou ahead.
"woo, looks like we're having caribou tonight boys" said Humphery as he gazes lovely and Kate from the distance. The three omegas notices and starts to worry about him and his 'crush' against Kate.
"Come on Humphery, Kate is an alpha is and your an omega..." says Salty as he stares Y/n from where he is.
"We're just friends guys and what about you" says Humphery towards Salty with an unknown expression.
"What, you can't blame me for admiring. Besides, I think we can all agree that Kate will get the alpha position since she is the oldest." Salty states the knowing.
Humphery and the gang just watch from their position as how the hunt goes without speaking any further on the subject. Though Humphery wonders how are Y/n and Kate have been since they last saw each other. Out of the corner of Moochs eye, he alerted the gang what he sees and notice it was a small group of eastern wolves.
Y/n POV
"This it is... our first hunt of the season" says Y/n as she ready herself to attack the caribou in front of her as well as few alphas behand her and her sister Kate.
However, I notice something in the distance and alerted Kate. "Hutch, Can-do... we have company" states Kate after noticing what I saw. After that, the three eastern wolves alerted themselves to the caribou which forced them to duck and cover, letting them pass them.
"Grrr" displaying her frustration as she and the other started to chase them to continue their hunt. It was not until few moments later that the eastern wolves ran the other way, scared out of their minds.
Wondering what could have happen the rest of the group notice a stampede was headed towards them. Kate and I gave the order to scatter towards the side of the valley when noticing the eastern wolves were to far ahead to hear. Summoning up all of my strength, when reaching the edge, I immediately rushed over to help.
It wasn't long until I got close enough to push them and myself closer to the edge of an broken tree branch bigger enough to give all of us cover. As we waited out for the stampede to be over, I took her chance to glance over to see if my sister and the others made it safely to the side of the valley.
When the smoke cleared, Can-do, Hutch, and Kate came over to check on me, see if I got hurt anywhere. "I'm fine guys, thanks" and with that it wasn't long until Can-do started to display his anger towards the three eastern wolves.
"Can-do get it out" states Kate
"Better listen to the girl" says the female eastern wolf
Soon enough, Can-do, Hutch and other alpha started to fighting with the eastern wolves while Kate and I tried to break up the fight. It was not until I heard "Incoming" that I moved and look where it was coming from.
"Humphery" both Kate and I said
The fight stop only for a moment, but it did not last long and continued to fight. Humphery had given the signal to his friends and they launch Mooch onto them. The fight stop long enough for Humphery to point out how the caribou was making fun of them.
"Western hunt group, get back to the den" Winston says on top of the stone. As they were making their way back, the three eastern wolves growled at them before Winston says they also need to leave immediately.
"Omegas, good job" and Winston was on his way back to the den.
"Great our first hunt and I blew it" says Kate
"No you didn't, it was those eastern wolves" Humphery says trying to comfort her. "Besides there are other food source they can try out like.... like..." looking at his friends for help as both Kate and I look back with an deadpanned expression of their face. "Berries, we could eat berries" as he tries some only to look unconvinced of hoe it taste
"Try telling that to a hungry pack" says Kate disappointedly while I waves bye to the group before following her sister home.
