Next morning
The morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting soft rays of light across the room. Naina slowly opened her eyes, blinking against the brightness. She stretched her arms and glanced over at Preeti, who was still curled up under the covers, completely lost in her dreams.
"Preeti," Naina called softly, leaning over to gently shake her shoulder. "It's time to wake up."
Preeti groaned, pulling the blanket over her head in protest. "Just five more minutes, Naina," she mumbled, her voice muffled.
Naina smiled patiently, but she knew they had a lot to do today. "No more five minutes, Preeti. We need to get ready for university," she said, trying to coax her awake.
Reluctantly, Preeti peeked out from under the covers, her eyes still heavy with sleep. "Ugh, why are mornings so early?" she grumbled but began to sit up.
Naina chuckled softly, giving her friend an encouraging pat on the back. "Come on, I'll go freshen up first, and then it'll be your turn."
Preeti nodded lazily, rubbing her eyes as Naina slipped out of bed and made her way to the washroom.
Once inside, Naina turned on the shower, the cool water refreshing her senses as she washed away the remnants of sleep. After a quick bath, she dressed in a simple, comfortable dress—soft blue fabric that matched her calm mood.
