Khalisar, Almara

The drive to the first location, Serene Hearts Orphanage, was relatively short. The orphanage held a special place in Lisa's heart. She had founded it with the hope of giving children a place to grow up with love and care, something she believed every child deserved. But as the car approached the gates, a wave of unease washed over her. This visit wasn't just about her charity work; it was about showing the world that she was ready to step up, to take on more than just her role as a princess.

Faris opened the door on Lisa's side with a respectful nod. He extended his hand, and Lisa took it gracefully, sliding her phone discreetly into his pocket as she stepped out.

"Keep my phone safe," she whispered softly into his ear, her tone serious yet trusting. "If Jennie calls or texts, let me know immediately."

"Of course, Your Highness," Faris replied, his voice steady with reassurance. Lisa offered him a warm smile and a quiet thank you.

Lisa knew she could rely on Faris. Beyond her sister Liyana, he was the one person she trusted most in the world. She was confident that her secret about Jennie would be safe with him, no matter what challenges might arise.

She turn to face the children, Lisa noticed the way the children's faces lit up when they saw her. Their excitement was contagious, and for a moment, she allowed herself to relax, to forget the pressure and just be present.

"Princess Lisa!" a small voice called out, and she turned to see a little girl running towards her, arms outstretched. Lisa knelt down, catching the child in a warm embrace.

"Hello there, sweetheart," Lisa said, her voice gentle as she hugged the girl. "How have you been?"

"Good, Princess! We made drawings for you!" the girl exclaimed, pulling out a stack of colorful papers from her pocket.

Lisa smiled, her heart swelling with affection. "I can't wait to see them."

The Sultan watched Lisa as she interacted with the children, a sense of melancholy washing over him. It wasn't just Lisa's compassion or the way she effortlessly connected with the little ones; it was how much she reminded him of her mother, his ex-wife. Although everyone in the country often remarked how much Liyana resembled her, it was Lisa who truly embodied her spirit. From the way Lisa was with children to her deep compassion for people, everything she did these days seemed to echo her mother's essence. Lisa had always been the closest to her, inseparable even, and it was no surprise that she had grown into the woman her mother had once been.
