"I'M GOING TO need this run again."
⠀⠀⠀Quanah looked up from her notes and glanced at Beaman standing at the end of her desk. He was a tall, dark-skinned man with a bald head, a beard, and glasses. He was also Eudora's partner and sent on a mission as he held out an evidence bag towards her. Inside was a knife from the crime scene at Griddy's Diner, and in his other hand was a steaming cup of coffee. She set it down on Quanah's desk as a peace offering. She smiled and took a sip of the warm liquid as it peeled inside her chest. Then, she looked back at Beaman and raised a brow.
⠀⠀⠀"Eudora didn't like the results?" she asked.
⠀⠀⠀"No, just rolled her eyes and asked me to bring it back," he said with a shrug. "Sorry."
⠀⠀⠀"Whatever, gets me away from my desk," she muttered. She stood and stretched, allowing a few of her bones to pop. Beaman cringed at the sound.
⠀⠀⠀"By the way, your brother was let out this morning," he said, following her to the fingerprint analysis station and crossing his arms as he watched her prep. "That asshole doesn't deserve you."
