"Usually, in this kind of situation, husbands first ask their wives to make room on the bed before taking their place. I don't know what kind of clay you're made of, Mr.ji" she remarked sarcastically, glancing down at her husband, who was comfortably lying on the couch with his eyes closed, half-covered by a quilt, one hand tucked behind his head , in a relaxed posture

"Definitely not from the Ganga ghaat mitti, Sweetheart, as I don't have the habit of harassing people while sleeping," He replied with sharp sarcasm, opening his eyes. Her forced smile faltered instantly making a smirk culled on his lips

"You know, Mrs. Ranawat, these kinds of options are given to those who don't roam around sliding their fingers into someone's pants and trying to grasp-" he began, his tone laced with a teasing edge

"Ach-acha! Achaa! Ho gaya. Why are you continuously repeating the same thing ?.I did mi-mistake and I am sorry for that . And evenI have apologised for it many times " she snapped, fumbling with her words as her cheeks flushed. His smirk got deeper, clearly enjoying how flustered she had become. It was becoming obvious that winning an argument with her husband was no easy task

"And don't for-forget , you even have taken revenge-

She stopped immediately, her cheeks reddening even more as the memory of their first morning together flashed in her mind. Closing her eyes in embarrassment, she tried to block out the thought, but his chuckle brought her back to the present.

"Trust me, that was left in the middle," he continued with a teasing grin. "I still have to show you what happened in the bathroom-"

"Shut up!!! I don't want to sleep. Good night," she snapped, her voice louder than she intended. Her cheeks were flushed, and the redness crept down to her neck, the heat of embarrassment mixing with a racing heart as his double meaning talk registered in her mind while He just enjoyed her stated

She huffed, giving him an angry glare, but to him, she looked more like an adorable angry flower. Frustrated, she turned away and sat on the single sofa, crossing her arms with a pout , looking away from him. He barely stifled a chuckle, shrugging his shoulders slightly, which only deepened her irritation.Closing his eyes again, he waited, knowing all too well that she'd be back. She always did , and if not she weight nothing to carry in arms

" Dusht ! Ek baar puchha bhi nahi ki Ishaaaa , Come back Sweetheart . You must be feeling cold " She mumbled , and snapped her head towards him with a glare who seemed completely relaxed without a worry

"Ishaaa, come back, Sweetheart. I'll warm you under this blanket" he called out teasingly, his voice dripping with sarcasm . She turned to face him, only to see him winked, his suggestive tone leaving her momentarily speechless with parted lip

He shook her head as her cheeks flushed with blush and she looked away immediately , mumbling under her breath " Nirlajj"

The night grew colder, and she wrapped her dupatta around herself, curling up on the couch with her legs folded. She wished he would come to her, apologise, and show her some affection. As she watched her grumpy husband lying on the couch with his eyes closed, her hope slowly dwindled. Eventually, she found herself standing beside him. She poked his bicep with a pout

" Which side, Mrs.Ranawat " He asked in a heavy bored tone , and slowly looked up , at her face , glowing in the moonlight , as the lights had turned dim by him through his smartwatch in the pocket , creating a beautiful soft yet peaceful atmosphere under the beautiful twinkling sky
