AUTHOR........P.O.V......

After a beautiful night, a new morning arrived, bringing with it a sense of hope. She had grown accustomed to praying inside the mansion, though she definitely wasn't prepared to see her husband roaming in the grand hall bare-chested, his skin damp with sweat of hardwork in Gym. As she chanted holy mantras , his curses, directed at whoever was on the other end of his phone, echoed through the mansion, creating a strange contrast to her serene morning routine.

Choosing to ignore the scene, she continued with her day. They met at the breakfast table, where an awkward silence hung between them. Both ate quietly, each lost in their thoughts, before they prepared to leave for their respective work

She looked at him, deciding to break the ice, but before she could speak, he cut her off coldly. "If you're thinking of waiting for me at night like a wife, dismiss the thought. I won't appreciate it," he said, his tone firm and distant

Her heart sank at his words, but she nodded, masking her disappointment. The silence between them grew heavier, a reminder of the walls he kept firmly in place. She sighed looking at his back and eat in silence thinking " But I was about to ask if you took or medicine or not "

She quickly finished her meal and was about to exit the door when she saw his pet approaching her. Her heart sank in fear as the so-called peace treaty between them felt completely absurd-he was still growling at her, showing no signs of letting up. Panicking, she instantly turned and began to run, glancing over her shoulder to check if he was chasing her again. Her pulse raced as she hurried away, praying she could avoid another close encounter

"Ahhhhhhh!" she shrieked as she collided with a wall-like structure. She was about to fall back when two hands caught her by the arms. She started flailing her hands in fear, babbling incoherently to herself with closed eyes in fear

"Phoenix! Phoooenix!! I promise I won't call -- Dusht Jaanwar, or even Bailbudhhi, or Nirlajj Praani, please! Please, let me go!" she cried out in fear. The person before her narrowed his eyes, glancing at the black creature that stood nearby, seemingly unbothered, watching the drama unfold

"Pakka, I won't call Ekaksh with all these ," she whispered to herself. His head snapped toward her, and with a sob, she opened her eyes to see her savior-only to be met with those cold blue orbs. Fear consumed her, and though she tried to hold it in, the overwhelming dread turned her silent cries into sobs without tears but before he could say something she started

"Ye kaisa snakatpurn, kurur pashu ko pal raha hai aapne. Har kshn ye pani maryada bhool kar mere praan harkene ki paryash me rahata hai," she cried between sobs, her accusing eyes fixed on him while he slowly left her arms and stared at her for good minutes trying to understand the words she voice out

. It wasn't the first time the panther had menaced her. Since he had left for abroad, she had needed to rely on servants to help her reach the gate, as the panther's piercing gaze was always fixed on her, as if searching for a chance to tear her apart

" Ku-Kur-Kur -kya-

He tried hard, but his mispronunciation made her sobs instantly die. She corrected him, crying out, "क्रूर! क्रूर, एकक्ष!" before slipping back into her previous tearful expression and slowly looked back only to find the panther going back being fed up with their drama
