Renzo and Yukio had to fight off not just Darren but the other priest and priestess that were protecting him. Yukio could see that they were all being controlled by demons of anger just like Raina said people would be. Renzo could see them too and they worked together to remove all of the demons from the other priest and priestess only for Darren to be the last one standing.

"so...you two think you can protect my sisters huh?"

"We don't think-We can! You even think about harming Raina anymore and we're going to have a problem." Renzo said seriously as he glared at the elder purple haired male

"You're just as annoying as she is, no wonder you two were chained together. Do you have any idea how much chaos and blood rivers she has caused in the last few years?"

"It wasn't like she had a choice, she was forced to do so or she'd die which would kill Shima as well. There was no way for her to safely do anything she wanted." Yukio said seriously

"She said that to you huh? Well let's see if you two have the conviction to actually hold your ground against me."

Darren allowed himself to be consumed by anger and grief as the demon changed his appearance completely. Yukio and shima worked together to kill the male so the girls didn't have to worry about him anymore. Shima was the one that had done the killing blow as the time bomb wraith screeched out in pain and turned into dust. 

Yukio sighed and shook his head. "Let's go get the girls, they aren't safe here."

Renzo nodded his head and the two of them left the chapel to go to the house they knew the girls to be in. When they had gotten to the house Rei was taking care of third degree burns on Raina's body, almost her entire body was covered in them. Rei looked at the two males sadly. "She's severely harmed, she's out cold from the pain right now. I...I don't know how to help her out more than this. Do either one of you know what this is on her back?"

"I do and I can help her out, just hold her still Rei." Renzo said placing a hand on his chest

She nodded her head and she held onto her little sister tightly. "Okay I can do that."

Renzo did a chant with his K'irk in his hand out in front of him as around him glowed a golden color as did around Rei and Raina, it didn't take long before the burn marks and the engravings on Raina's back were completely gone. Rei's eyes widened seeing what had happened. "H-How did you do that?"

"Come with us and you'll see for yourself Rei. You and your sister are in danger staying here any longer."

Rei frowned as she heard what he said. "If we leave...there will be no lord here. Because of Raina killing the last one, she became the lord here."

"They will be fine without one. You need to take care of you and your sister first." Yukio said seriously

Rei nodded her head and she carried her sister to her sisters room to dress her before Renzo found where she made off to. Renzo looked around the room curiously. "So this is her room huh?"

"Mhm, since you are her soul mate-mind helping me out with her things? She'll be out of it for a while. No doubt she used a lot of her energy while she was out, the pain was just what was needed to knock her out."

"I got her things, you worry about your own." Renzo said with a smile

Rei nodded her head and rushed to her room. Renzo went up to where Raina was sleeping before he pressed his forehead against hers. "You better not think I'll let you go when we get back, you're never leaving me woman." He spoke softly to her before he kissed her cheek softly

He then went to pack all of her things in two bags she had on the side of her bed, he saw that all of her important things were already in the bags. It confused him, why would they already be packed? Was she thinking about leaving Rei alone? He looked through everything she had packed and she saw a letter that was on top of one of the bags. He grabbed it and opened it.

|Dearest elder sister, if you are seeing this note it is because I have gone hysterical after all of the things that the elders of the system have made me do. It won't be long before I become hostile and become the one thing that has torn this family apart and killed many of us. I love you enough not to cause you such harm. I have already broken the chains with Shima Renzo, he will no longer see my life. Just like he should-you should move on from me as well. I love you so much big sister, please don't worry about me. In time things will be better for you, I leave the title of Lord in your hands since you are blood related to me and the closest to me. Your beloved younger sister.|

Renzo sat at the end of her bed and stared at the note for a moment before he looked at Raina once more, he hadn't realized just how much she had been suffering on her own. She was willing to do so much to keep her sister safe, yet she was always getting the short end of the stick in the end. He kept the note in his pocket as he looked through the bags to find that she had packed her computer, clothes and essentials. Once he finished looking through everything he put it back and zipped up the bags only to see Raina waking up. 

Raina was quick to get up as she didn't feel the pain on her back anymore. She placed her hands on her back before she saw that Renzo was in her room. "R-Renzo..."

He went up to her and pulled her into his chest as he crashed his lips into hers, she happily kissed him back as she held onto his shirt tightly. Once they parted away from one another she teared up. "Y-You helped me out...d-didn't you?"

"I did yes, I wished you would have told me about what was keeping you bound to your work. I could have helped you out sooner Raina."

Raina placed her head against his chest as she shut her eyes. "I...I didn't know if I could get help from you or anyone there. I apologize Renzo."

He petted the back of her head softly. "It's fine, I found the note you wrote for your sister...that was a 'what if' scenario..wasn't it?"

"Mhm, it was. Thankfully it didn't happen."

"You and your sister are going to be living in our time now...you aren't safe here."

"As long as I get to be with you I don't care what happens with me anymore."
