Chapter IV: The Sorting

Kieran's POV

                 I placed Hoax on my spot as i reached my trunk and changed into my school robes. I was ignoring the conversation that Malfoy was having. As I was getting Change rumors began to go down the hall in front of our compartment 
                                                "Harry Potter is here!" A voice said outside "The real Harry Potter is in a compartment here"
                                               "Keep your voice down 'Mione" Said A male voice as they walked by 
                                               "Wait, The Harry Potter is here?" I said confused as I looked at Malfoy and the others.  
                                                 "Probably those are rumors," Said Theodore from his spot. 
                                                "Yeah, probably," I agreed. Malfoy, clearly intrigued, jumped up and declared,
                                                "I'm going to check this out." He headed out of the carriage, with Crabbe and Goyle in tow. Theodore and I exchanged a look of shared curiosity.
                                                  "Do you think Harry Potter is really here, or is it just a rumor?" I asked Theodore.
                                                  "I'm not sure" Theordore responded as he shrugged "Might be or maybe not" 

                   After that we both went to do our own things in the comparment, but in the air we were both really curious to know if Harry Potter was Really there though it wasn't showed on their faces. A few minutes later Malfoy and his goons arrived. One of the Goyle was whinning as they each took a seat, the looke dot have been embarresed as they sat down 
                                                "That Potter" Malfoy said as he looked a bit furious due to the interraction. 
                                                "What happened Malfoy?" Theodore asked. 
                                                "He has a fast mouth. Acting like he owns the place." Malfoy said still angered. 
                                               "And what happened to him?" I asked as I pointed at Goyle who was holding his bit finger.
                                               "He got bit by Weasley's rat" Malfoy spat. "Potter already seemed to alighed himself with the wrong sorts. Blood Traitors." I raised my eyebrow at that comment. Ron was my friend so I was reacting to Malfoy's comment.
                                               "I'm going to make Potter pay" Malfoy added as he crossed his arms still mad. I chuckled to myself as I got up to my spot. I walked down the corridors as I reached the Compartment where I had seen Zach walked out and I poked my head, the boys inside were Ron, Zach and the same boy from Kings cross that we helped. 
                                              "Everyone here alright?" I asked as i looked at Ron.
                                             "Yeah Kieran" Ron said as he sat back down with scabbers on his lap "Just had an encounter with Malfoy. Oh did you know that the boy we helped is Harry Potter" Ron added pointing at the boy.
                                              "Merlin's Beard! It's Harry Potter." Kieran was Surprised "I'm Kieran Cunningham" He said as he extended his hand to harry and they shook his hand. Harry was going to speak Then a Voice echoed through the train: "We will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes' time. Please leave your luggage on the train it will be taken to the school separately." The boys listened to the voice.
                                           "Well I better go back to my carriage." I said "See you at Hogwarts?" I asked Ron, Harry and Zach. 
                                           "Yeah! Lets hope we are in the same house" Ron added as I nod  and returned to my carriage to get ready and place Hoax on his carrier. I dusted my new robes just in case as I sat back down. The other boys were still mad as Theodore was just minding his own busines.
