Chapter XII: A Dragon?!

Third Person POV

                       Kieran heard from Zach that Harry had gotten an Invisibility cloak and had gone out 3 times at night and found a mirror that showed them their deepest desire, but sadly didn't find anything about Nicolas Flamel. Kieran just listened but on the inside, he was trying hard not to expose the fact that he read about Flamel the night before Christmas day. Hermione who came back the day before the term started, took a different view of things. She was torn between horror at the idea of Harry being out of bed, roaming the school three nights in a row ("If Filch had caught you!"), and disappointment that he hadn't at least found out who Nicolas Flamel was. They had almost given up hope of ever finding Flamel in a library book, even though Harry was still sure he'd read the name somewhere. Once the term had started, they were back to skimming through books for ten minutes during their breaks. Kieran on the other had decided not to tell the quartette about finding about Flamel. He instead spends most of his time in the common room during his break or even spends time with Theodore, Tracey, Millicent, and Daphne. 

                              One day during Defense against the Dark Arts Kieran over heard the whispers from Ron and Harry about what they would do with a Philosopher's stone. if they had one. Ron mentioned about buying his own Quidditch team when Harry spoke.
                                                                  "I'm going to play," Harry told Ron and Zach. "If I don't, All the Slytherins will think I'm just too scared to face Snape. I'll show them../ it'll really wipe the smiles off their faces if we win."
                                                                    "Just as long as we're not wiping you off the field." Hermione said.
                                                                   "With Snape as referee I am certain Harry will play better or heck he'll even give Gryffindor the win" Zach said smiling wide. Kieran nodded to himself. 

                   After Class, Kieran waited for the quartette  to walk out of class when he saw them he quickly stopped them 
                                                               "Hey, can i talk with you guys" Kieran then looked around "About the you know what" He said and quickly walked off, expecting for them to follow him. Once they were at a place without other people and they made sure no one was listening in Kieran spoke. "So you finally found Flamel?" He asked
                                                               "Yeah we di-" Zach was saying when Ron stopped him 
                                                               "Why would you like to know?" Ron spat trying not to share information
                                                               "Oh please I already know all about Flamel and the Philosopher stone. " Kieran said shrugging.
                                                             "Wait how?" Hermione asked 
                                                             "Did you tell him Zach?" Ron asked Zach
                                                             "Zach didn't tell me anything" Kieran quickly replied "I found about Flamel during Christmas Break, to be precise on Christmas eve by accident." 
                                                            "And why didn't you tell us anything" Harry said a bit angered 
                                                           "Look i wasn't involving myself with all of this" Kieran said "going to the third floor, Fluffy, and finding about flamel in my part was all accidental. Honestly if I was Actually looking for him i woudlnt have"
                                                           "But you still could have-" Harry began but Kieran talked over.
                                                             "I didn't tell you because I didn't promise to share any info with you guys." He said before adding "Besides, who ever wants that Stone must want it for something malicious..." He ended the conversation and left.
