CASUAL

༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶

Everyone considered parties to be fun. Drinking with your friends, making silly little mistakes, hooking up with your crush; all of it was something enjoyable. However, when your friends bail on you and you're left to go on your own, it can be very boring. There's no one with you who can keep you company. This is how Anisa felt about the party she was attending tonight.

The party was being hosted by her boyfriends friend. Anisa didn't know anyone that was attending this party, so she decided not to go. But when Jobe had begged her to come, she found it difficult to say no, especially since he seemed to have really wanted her to attend.

The night of the party came around, the couple walking in holding hands as Anisa refused to leave his sight tonight. Jobe greeted a few familiar faces, anisa trailing behind him, not knowing a single person she's come across tonight.

Anisa ended up dragging Jobe to a quiet corner of the house, rather spending some time with her man instead of some random girls at a party. The couple found solace in each other's company, the conversation continued to develop naturally. In the midst of laughter and the small chatter around them, they spoke softy about what their future would look like.

Jobe told Anisa about how he would propose to her, where the location would be, where and when they would get married. Anisa mentioned that she wanted to have five kids. Jobe instantly thought that 5 was too much, considering that he only has 1 sibling, whereas Anisa grew up with a lot of siblings herself, so it was the norm for her.

Their deep conversation was interrupted by the host of the party, as he made his way to greet Jobe. The boy noticed the girl next to Jobe, questioning who she was as he'd never seen her before. The reply from Jobe cut deep, harshness lingering in the air and leaving a sting that words alone couldn't heal.

"This is Anisa, one of my friends." Friends? Is that how Jobe saw her? The young girl retraced her hands away from his sharply as tears welled up in her eyes, the pain of being disregarded as nothing.

How could Jobe say she was a friend when he told her he would marry her a few moments ago? Sitting at the beach watching the sunrise, baking cookies together and starting a food fight with each other, being in the car last night, sharing an intimate moment where Jobe had full access to Anisa's body, was that all casual to him?

Anisa scoffed at his comment, walking away from the boy she couldn't stand to look at.

"Anisa wait." The boy tried to get her to stay, but she was gone before he could get the words out. He knew better to leave her now, all hell would break loose because of the anger that Anisa held for the boy right now.
