After Anakin's long talk with the council about how the mission went south and his 'captor' he marched through the hallways of the Jedi temple quite irritated. Between his need to see Yara again and Mace Windu's need to speak down to the younger jedi, he was an explosion waiting to happen.
That was until he got summoned to the chancellor's office. He drove recklessly and fast to the old politicians office.
When he arrived the chancellor welcomed him with open eyes. "Anakin, my boy. I heard of your captor. I hope you are doing well young one."
The chancellor had Anakin sit in the chair opposite of his desk as they spoke. Anakin sat stiff like a stick while he was overly tense.
"Yes chancellor, I am much better. I only needed an exam." Anakin spoke.
Palpatine could tell his mind was elsewhere. He hoped his speeding along Anakin's side of the force bond had worked so that his Nayara could heavily influence the boy so Palpatine could finally start his endgame.
"Anakin, I heard about the girl in your prophecy being found. Was it she who kidnapped you?" Palpatine asked in a parental tone.
"Yes Chancellor." Anakin nodded eagerly. "She's in my dreams chancellor, that's how we speak. And I saw her yesterday in person." Anakin had to stop himself before he said something very un-Jedi like.
Palpatine nodded along. eager to hear of how his apprentice and future apprentice were moving along. Eager to feel proud of his long term pupil.
"You see her." trying to sound as surprised as possible. He knew how the bond he created would progress.
"Yes Sir. I see her as I see you now." Anakin's head hung low. Every moment his heart seemed to ache. He ached to be near her again. "I have to work harder to make the prophecy come true. I need her sir." Anakin let out slowly he was scared to admit his quickly growing feelings for the girl.
"Admit that to her young one." Palpatine stood up making his way around the extravagant desk to stand in front of the boy. "The prophecy says you're supposed to lean on each other. Don't worry about the order. You two will undo it all anyways."
Anakin nodded along to the wise man's words. It was true. The laws of the jedi order that constantly seemed to weigh in negatively wouldn't matter soon. Yara and himself would make sure of that.
But why does it feel so wrong? The Jedi order has done nothing but look down on him; he owes them nothing.

Anakin rushed quickly through the halls of the temple. His robes billowed behind him.
"Master!" Ashoka called out. Anakin turns around to meet the smiling face of his padawan. Ashoka, his baby sister, in a way looked excited to see him.
"Master, I didn't even know you were back." Ashoka spoke as she walked to stand by his side.
Anakin turned and continued walking now with Ashoka following quickly at his side. "I've only been back a few hours, I've mostly been occupied by meetings with the council and the chancellor, otherwise I would have found you by now." Anakin spoke in a calm comforting voice towards the younger jedi.
Ashoka's face twisted into a look of displeasure at the mention of meetings and other boring duties.
"I don't know how you do it, master. Being their middle man. I think my head would explode." Ashoka spoke freely. Anakin let out a low laugh at his padawan's thoughts.
"Ashoka, I'm starting to think the same thing." Ashoka looked at her master in admiration.
"What are you doing now master? I'm bored, can I tag along?" Ashoka asked lazily
"Not now Ashoka, I'm going to lie down for a few hours. " Ashoka looked quizzingly at her master. Anakin was never one to just go lie down. Her master could barely sit still most of the time. "Dont worry Ashoka tomorrow we can have a long training session." Anakin gave a nurturing look to his padawan.
"Fine." Ashoka groaned out jokingly. "Have fun rotting away all day. Im going to find master Obi Want to bother." Ashoka skipped away back down the hall.
Anakin quickly made his way into his bed room. His thoughts never leaving Yara. He could see her face in his mind clearly. The way the light caught her high cheek bones and how her eyes always seemed clouded with secrets. Anakin desperately wanted to know them all, he wanted to dig deeper into her soul and learn all of those secrets that seemed to plague her beautifully brown eyes.
Anakin stripped his clothes. And adorned a pair of darkly colored linen pants before slipping under the covers of his bed and letting his mind wonder.
